Well, Mizzou is 9-8 in football with no quality SEC wins. In basketball they finished 5th and lost first round of the NCAAs to a mid major. So I'd say it business as usual in CoMo

I admit things were looking pretty good until a couple Saturdays ago when the only thing stopping Auburn were end zones.

Who could have blamed us for looking at our options with the rats jumping off the conference ship as they were? The only reason the Big 12-2 still exists at all is because Larry Scott and Texas couldn't come to an agreement on the Longhorn network. If it hadn't been for that deal falling through at the 11th hour, the Big 12-2 would have collapsed completely.

Thankfully, a dream scenario worked out for us.

Mizzou probably won't go undefeated in basketball. When we finally do lose a game, hopefully we bounce back rather than losing three out of four and watching our ranking do its best impersonation of Charlie Weis's coaching career.
