Really feel for the families and for Romeo and Pioli ... Romeo has always seemed like a good guy and is well liked in every locker room so far as I can tell and it must be a very difficult night for them both after what they witnessed and were powerless to stop..

Best wishes for a Chiefs recovery in the coming weeks and months,

So there are acceptable reasons to kill her?

You are ****ing deplorable. Are you related to Denise?

I think luv's theory is correct. He was panicking and went to the people who were most likely to be able to help and protect him. When the police showed up, he lost it.

He shot her multiple times.

This is not self-defense.

And I'm sure his mother present is going to be keeping quiet if it was really self defense.

You can continue to bury your head in the sand and act like the piece of shit you are.

I knew Jovan. I knew nothing of this. The punching incident? Seems like that was a history of violence against glass! Not women. Anyone that hasn't punched something because a woman pissed them off probably hasn't dated many women.

I won't speculate as to why this happened with shit like "head trauma" or other such factors. Sometimes arguments, yes regular arguments, escalate into crimes of passion and people die. Happens everyday. I'm not defending Jovie in any way, just saying that Occam's razor probably applies here pretty well. They got into a heated argument and it escalated. People trying to sensationalize this need to find something better to do with their day.

Y'know, that's a really fair point.

When I was 18, I got in a argument with my girlfriend. I hung up, walked past my folks, went upstairs, walked calmly into my room and put my fist through the drywall. Really stupid, could've broken my hand had a stud been there. I was young, I was an idiot...but so was Belcher when the college incident happened.

But shit man, I've only ever hit another human being once in my life. I've never so much as contemplated getting physical with a woman (in fact, married the same girl and we've been married for 7 years).

I hadn't thought about it, but you're right. It's really unfair to try to hang that incident around his neck now. Some people have a temper - but it doesn't mean they're violent. Apart from this incident, we just don't see any indication that Belcher has shown a 'violent' streak. Just the same idiot young kid temper that a lot of us had in our youth.

I think everyone needs to calm the **** down and stop arguing. On both sides of this argument. People died. This is a tragedy, stop with all your selfishness.

He totally lost it and had not just shot her once, but "multiple times". He knew the "end was near" and was deciding how it ends.

After seeing what was behind doors 1 and 2, he chose door number 3.

Of course you play the game.

You consider if Crennel is up to it right away, but you don't even know how he feels about the game being played. Could be that he wants to stay busy, ever consider that? I'm sure he has the option of sitting this one out if he wants, or so I would assume. Torrey Smith played for the Ravens the very day his 19-year-old brother was killed in a motorcycle accident this year...and his bother didn't kill somebody in front of his own mother before he died.

You think all the players really want to give up their game-day paychecks? Those are pretty sizable. We are talking about an incredibly selfish series of actions by Belcher. He's a murderer, then he's got to go to the team's facility to shoot himself in front of the coach and GM?

As far as I'm concerned, the tragedy is the murder. I feel sorry for the child left behind, the murdered woman, the families involved, and, to a lesser degree, Pioli and Crennel for having to witness a suicide. I have a friend that witnessed his buddy shoot himself in the head...it was just the two of them, until it wasn't, if you catch my drift. That was not the end of his world.

I'm sure there's some 'read between the lines' bullshit situation that will fit your definition.

My point remains. Murder is not black and white.

My point remains - murder has a definition and you're not using it.

At best, what you're describing is going to get you dinged with an involuntary manslaughter charge due to the lack of the necessary mens rea.

Murder is black and white.

Please stop being an idiot.

Don't think he was going after a player, players weren't there yet I don't think

I'm not stating that it was pre-meditated but it wouldn't be a shock to find out that was the case.

I'm sorry for you guys.

After the season the Chiefs are having this is the last thing ya'll need to deal with.
