Yes it is. Maryville is my hometown too. My Dad taught at NWMSU until his death in 1987.

Absolutely. That team ran the league slate. It was outstanding.

And even then it ended with a thud in LA.

This yr is just a garden variety slip into and out of the tourney Mizzou hoops squad.

I need to log off the internet. I'm ****ing furious right now.

I still just can't believe the bullshit nature of that game today.

I'm amazed he didn't start throwing elbows. I know that's what they were looking for, and apparently he did too. I don't know that I'd have had the same composure. Edit : It felt like they wanted a fight to happen so they could invent a rivalry.

We got ****ed, plain and simple.

That said, we should have won in spite of all that. Maybe Pressey will mature a little when he realizes what he's doing isn't going to get him into the NBA. We were better today when he was out of the game.

Hats off to Keion Bell. Right now, he's the best player on the team.

Incredibly frustrating game.

I agree but the refs appeared as if they were going to prevent a win. Again I go back to the phantom travel. We were up 3 with the ball and for all intents and purposes could have put the game away but enter the refs on that play and every possession after that. You could see plain as day that MU would get called for not having their shoes tied right while Arkansas would get away with travels and have to commit 3 fouls to get 1 called

Torpedo Vegas ‏@ConfidentFatMan

That high pitch whine you hear right now is just Frank Haith it is NOT a tornado siren.

ImAWalkingCorpse 02-16-2013 07:07 PM

Seems as though Pig fans are complaining about the officiating on Twitter. Not realizing they won because of the officials.

stonedstooge 02-16-2013 07:10 PM

Fouls numbers were the same and Mizzou went to the line more. But the foul calling was much more strategic then the numbers indicate

I've been at an indoor watermark all day, but it sounds like Arkansas played poorly but still managed a victory. Oh well, you guys will beat the hell out of us next meeting.

gblowfish 02-16-2013 07:12 PM

Mizzou basketball is such a drag to watch sometimes. How can this team be so bi-polar?
It's un-frickin-real.

ImAWalkingCorpse 02-16-2013 07:14 PM

As shitbaggish as the refs were, Pressey is still the number 1 turd in the punchbowl. He either wanted Anderson to win OR he is fixing games for money. Either way his character needs to be brought in to question.

Pressey only had 2 assists today combined with 4 turnovers and about 15 ****ups

Mizzou_8541 02-16-2013 07:26 PM

He's probably an easy target, but I blame this on Pressey. This is Pressys fault. Oh, and where the **** was Bowers?
