Gillian probably wrote Walt's character with Cranston's X-files performance in mind. I doubt he would have known what to do if AMC told him he had to choose someone else. "Sorry, Vince but we can't let you hire Cranston for the role, but we already have another actor in mind and he loves the concept of your show. Keep an open mind, it's... Matt LeBlanc!"

I showed my wife 5 minutes of "Malcolm in the Middle" and she nearly shit herself.

Cranston is an AMAZING actor. Thank God they picked him for this part.

They shouldn't openly admit this. I liked the fact that they didn't just come out with the fact that Walt did it.

Really? It seemed pretty obvious to me. Cut and dry, open and shut. I didn't think there was any ambiguity to it.

Seriously......this show is ****ing awesome.

Exactly, otherwise why show the plant at all? I know I was shocked.

You'd be surprised by the number of people who didn't catch that. A lot of people around different forums needed to be shown the gif before they realized what had happened.

There's just one episode I refuse to watch again..."Boxcutter"

I think everyone knows the part I'm talking about. Believe me, I have a strong stomach and can stand to watch even the most gory French horror films but that one part just made me nearly pass out lol:Lin:

They are just scaring you. We had the same messages running on DirectTV last year.

Everyone compliments this show on it's amazing twists. To me the show is just expertly plotted with a lot of great moments. Not many have been "twists." At least, not as I'd define the word. Many of them have been unsettling or powerful but not necessarily shocking or surprising.

This one was a true shocking twist, I think. And it was a great punch because most of the episode had been pretty obvious and expected.

Nice.

So pumped to finally get to watch this thing as it airs. Can't wait!

Bewbies 06-27-2012 10:45 PM

Watching this like normal people, one week at a time, is going to suck.

Can't wait.

Red Brooklyn 06-28-2012 08:47 AM

I'm actually hoping that watching week to week improves the experience. Should be nice to have to deal with the tension rather than immediately elevating it by watching the couple episodes.

The show is at it's best when the audience is in knots.
