Duffy should be stretched out enough. Using him tonight was a mistake, but it was a sunk cost. Granted, Young is probably on a short leash tomorrow night, but, given where you're at now, why not bring in Medlen over Herrera to save his arm and keep the Mets from seeing him again and then have Duffy backing up Young tomorrow night.

Well.. this went all to hell.... it would have been nice if Ventura had decided to be a man tonight and not a total coward and pussy.

The royals are still on track to curb stomp these SONNABITCHES. Just like Toronto, the mets are going to get punished for this.

I was wondering about that. I was surprised by the error, you don't get errors for being reeruned and making a mental mistake. He fielded the ball cleanly, decided not to throw to first, threw to someone else, thats just a straight (reeruned) fielder's choice.

Duffy won't be backing up Young. Medlen will.
