What were all the preseason rankings and projections the last few offseasons?

From the market research done at my facility I find that 78% of Dungver fans believed their team would be a 10-6 division champ/playoff team. This is after the absolute CHOKE of a draft and the continued team dismantling at the hands of McDraftBust.

Ahhh, so that's about the same % of fans around this forum that has had similar thoughts the last few seasons. Ok.

Honestly, I'm numb and worn out on the team at this point and I'd really love to see the coach fired. Bottom line. Josh appeared to be a nice fit, but he's way over his head - it's fact, the trend of losing backs it up.

Guys like Lloyd are doing well - same with Orton, but damn ... there are a lot of older guys on that team watching the window close.

Maybe if he had some real help around him he'd be fine but I think he would just run them off as well.He definitely needs a time out.

McDumbass should never have traded Brandon Marshall. :cuss:

Brandon Lloyd 2010 stats- 48 catches, 968 yards, 20.2 yards per catch, 6 TD's

Brandon Marshall 2010 stats- 55 catches, 652 yards, 11.2 yards per catch, 1 TD

Orton Earns Honor

For his performance in the Broncos' 49-29 win against Kansas City on Sunday, Kyle Orton will be named AFC Offensive Player of the Week for Week 10.

Two days after tossing a career-high four touchdowns in the Broncos' 49-29 win against Kansas City, it was announced Kyle Orton will be honored as the AFC Offensive Player of the Week for Week 10. It is the second such honor Orton has won in his career and first this season.

Orton finished the game 22-of-34 for 296 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions as the Broncos posted their tied for second-highest point total in team history. He was not sacked for the first time this season en route to a 131.5 passer rating -- the second highest of his career.

The sixth-year quarterback's day began with one of the best opening quarters in team history. Orton became just the second signal-caller in team history to throw three first-quarter touchdown passes to help the Broncos score the game's first 35 points.

It was just the ninth time since 1991 that an NFL player accomplished the feat without throwing an interception. Orton threw for 146 yards in the quarter -- second-best in team history -- to help his team earn the home win against the division-leading Chiefs.

Orton is Denver's 46th AFC Offensive Player of the Week winner since the award was initiated by the NFL in 1984. He also earned the honor last season for his performance in a Week 5 overtime win against New England.
