Sources tell me several position coaches for the Kansas City Chiefs prefer tackle Eric Fisher over Luke Joeckel....

I hope this is true.

Of course. OL coaches like mean guys. Fisher's got a much nastier streak. Shame position coaches don't make picks, though.

He already has that in Dex and Robinson. Should be happy. :banghead:

It doesn't matter if you like Fisher. It has to be Joeckel.

Fisher's played like two games that actually mattered. That's too much risk for a #1 overall tackle.

Joeckel's the sure thing. If you're taking a tackle at 1.1, you want the sure thing.

In a draft with no elite talent at the top, no you don't.

You take the guy with the higher ceiling and hope like hell you hit a home run.

I think Johnson has the highest ceiling.

Your job isn't on the line.

Theirs is.

Per TheShullReport

#Dolphins *and*#Chiefs *LT Brandon Albert are now talking contract. A trade is all but guaranteed now

KCwolf 04-20-2013 02:42 PM

Best Player in the Draft is Chance Wormack..... period. Now would I take him @1.1 .... Nope

Nobody's job is on the line right now.

What I am hoping is that the contract talks convince albert and his agent that he should just agree to a deal with the Chiefs.

I would say that's wrong.

Almost every GM/coach's job is on the line on draft day.

I'm sure when Reid is fired in 8 years, Hunt will cite his bullshit handling of the '13 off-season.
