Hey you're picking it up! That's exactly how the nation feels about KU fans right now.

you CAN take a charge without both feet on the floor. BUT you must have established position beforehand (in part by having both feet on the floor). once a player has established position, he may lift his feet, jump, and even move laterally from the opposing player.

There are 2 separate aspects to guarding - establishing position and then maintaining position.

This is true. I guess I should have been more clear.

However, none of this applies to the play in question, because he never established any kind of position, nor was Withey initiating the contact.

don't care about the game, I posted it because all of the morons stating that you cant be moving your feet to take a charge. you can, and that's been clarified for several years.

I'll take the bad luck now rather than in the tournament. Karma is coming for you.

mikeyis4dcats. 02-26-2013 07:24 PM

did I understand right that the stat is that KU has only led at halftime in 3 conference games this year? that's crazy.

Only if you have established your position, which requires both feet on the floor. AFTER this, you can have your feet off the floor.

Brock, this is the year it's totally gonna happen!

Kind of like this was the year that ISU was going to be relevant in something.
