Not sure what to think about this move. He's got middle reliever stuff that will be used as a starter for KC. Should fit in perfectly in KC..........

I bet that the Callaspo trade ensures that Moose gets a cup o' coffee in September, and he'll definitely be the starter on Opening Day in '11.

Would have rather traded Aviles instead of Callaspo. Aviles is a fluke, Callaspo isn't. Don't know much about these pitchers, maybe somebody can shed some light on it. At first glance, I don't really like it but when you have Moose coming up at 3B you need to get something. Figured Callaspo could end up being a good utility guy though.

Thats more like it. Not excited about O'Sullivan, but Will Smith is a legit B-minus or C-plus prospect. His stats look ugly this year, but you gotta look at it in context. He did great his first year or so in the low minors, but the Angels strapped him (just age 21, I think) into a rocket ship and he sailed past Adv. A and AA all the way to AAA in less than a season, where he got shelled in a very hitter-friendly league (Pacific Coast League). Maybe he'll turn out to suck, but the Angels did him no favors.

Callaspo being in a utility role is quite frightening cant imagen his Defense being any worse at other positions

and promptly gets his run taken away because he is a lazy POS

He can play third okay, but seems to suck at 2b. Still, he would be much more valuable in situational batting being he's a switch hitter as non-everyday player that you can plug in there when the time is right.

They're basically the same guy, other than I believe Aviles is under control for longer for no money.

Mark Cuban needs something to do in the summer. KC has shown they will embrace a sports team if they are good. Somebody needs to try to sell this to Cuban lol

I'm telling you, Aviles will be a career .268 or something hitter IMO. Callaspo will be a better hitter in his career, mark my words. They both suck at defense so what else is new. But I see your point.
