If you hold down the PS button on your sixaxis for 3 seconds a menu appears where you can select "turn off controller" if you do this before plugging in your new game peripherals, you should be OK.
I usually start with one sixaxis (singer) and then put in the other three instruments.

Alsoo, if you have other USB stuff (keyboard, etc) plugged in, they might be getting early controller slots. Try turning your system off and on again, that resets all controllers.

Actually I looked it up online and it looks like in the new update...they made it so any other "controllers" that aren't actual sixaxis controllers.....get bumped down to 7 when they get plugged in.

And FTR....I start up the PS3 with my regular wireless sixaxis controller and then start up my wireless guitar....and it immediately gets kicked down to the 7 spot. If I start up another one.....it gets bumped down to 7 and my other guitar gets bumped up to 6. I have to manually go in and change the positioning of the controllers for them to work.

Ok, I'll hit you up tomorrow (maybe tonight) for that. I have to ball it up tonight though. I'm playing basketball now to get in shape.

I think I will just wait for the game to eventually drop to $10. I have too many profiles as it is.

Nope. But KZ2 has a deal for all three map packs for a discount price. something COD should consider.

Why does Sony allow for PSN games to be activated on 5 different systems then. Doesn't make a lot of sense.

PSP's for one. You can tie your PSN account to both a PS3 and PSP, and play certain games on either.

is Ninja Gaiden a good game? i have all the Ninja Gaiden NES games (old school) and i loved those..

Glad to hear about Army of Two - I have the game but have not played it yet - will double up with my son to play it. I have Ninja Gaiden and it is a fun game - lots of cool moves and plenty of fighting. It can get tough but I find it enjoyable.

That only applies to PS1 titles though. Far as I am aware, none of the current PSN titles are available for both systems. And even so, why 5 systems. Why not just two. Hell, the most people would probably have is two systems anyway. Two PSPs or two PS3s or one of each. I don't see why anyone would have 5 active systems. It's almost like Sony said go ahead and share.
