While we are at it... what is Bruce Chen doing these days?

We need Chen back to take Ventura to the strip clubs.

Assuming it's the ankle and not worse. No word on how long.

Fuentes at Omaha: .302/.384/.333 in only 17 games. He ran into a wall a week ago and hurt his shoulder and missed time, but just came off the MiL DL.

If its anything less than an Achilles, I'd be (pleasantly) shocked. Maybe a broken foot, but looked way too random compared to most ankle injuries.

Nothing to do with the achillies. He has a sprained ankle and nothing more. Won't be out for a long duration of time.

Sure-Oz 06-01-2016 03:54 PM

@FlannyMLB: Eibner said he was very relieved MRI showed no broken bones or damage to Achilles. #Royals

Not a "high" ankle sprain --- just a run of the mill ankle sprain from everything I've read and heard. Very surprised given the way it looked at the time.

Probably 2-4 weeks tops IMO based on the multitude of ankle sprains I've had in my life.
