Did Our D Play Better With Washington?
 

K I hope Warfield is starting Sunday. Havind said that did it seem the Defense played more physiscal with Washington in? Sure seems like they did. That should say a lot about getting Warfield in the game.

It did. But I'm not really comfortable with him in the game, either. Please let Warfield play this week!

Id start Warfield and put Washington in the Nickel. How could that be much worse than what we have going right now?? I dont get this coaching staff???

I will take Sapp or Washington in the Nickel. Wew need to play more physical at corner especially this coming week. Miam's offense is not good and we need to keep it not good.

Washington Stepped up.. i guess thats why they picked him over Ashley Ambrose.

Good point. Of course, they need to adjust their roster to fit both. That is because Sapp is an awesome blitzing CB.

But I think, besides Warfield and Surtain... Washington is our best cover guy. That is mainly because he makes up for lacking speed with actually hitting his guy inside in the 5 yards.

Go figure! Someone who actually presses his opponent rather than backpedaling on them!

i don't agree with that ... he may be a crazy blitzer, but he's so hyped up and bouncing around that he's almost offsides half the time and everyone in that stadium knows he's coming.

we don't seem to understand the concept of disguising a blitz in general but Sapp is just plain ridiculous.

He tends to come in out of control, too, and miss.

Almost all our DBs do that.
