Didn't need to see stats to realize how awful they were.

Frazod 01-23-2006 02:35 PM

Main reason we didn't make the playoffs = these fucking assclowns - Allen

2006 D Line

John Abraham
Ryan Simms
Browning
Jared Allen

Hammock Parties 01-23-2006 02:42 PM

John Abraham?

Yeah, that's the ticket...let's get killed in run defense.

htismaqe 01-23-2006 02:46 PM

I'd prefer to draft a DE over picking up Abraham, his attitude, and his salary.

Where is Vlad?

Are we going to bet another season that Ryan Sims becomes a good player? Are Sims, Hicks, and Browning worth their cap numbers?

Chiefnj 01-23-2006 02:58 PM

You have to keep in mind that pressures aren't an official stat and teams usually inflate those numbers a bit. In years past the Chiefs used to really bump up the pressures.

We already have Allen, there's no need to add Abraham too.

Hicks is serviceable against the run.

What we really need is a dominating DT to line up beside Sims.

I'm willing to see how Ryan does next year if he can stay healthy. Since he basicly missed the season this year you can't really make a judgement on him. He had to sit around most of the season with the bum foot and didn't really have the time to get back to the shape he was in that first game. Since he kept his weight down during the injury I am willing to see if he will continue to give the effort he did during training camp this season.

As for Siavii, I hope our new HC and DL coach can kick some drive into his lazy butt.

However, what I really want is a good DT draft pick or FA pickup. We need help in the DL. We could really use a DT and a DE to compliment Allen.

Browning is a descent player, but he really didn't do much last year-time for a change. I mean 19 sacks for the whole group-take out Allen's numbers and you get 8 sacks for 16 games. I would like to see all of them gone.

The Wilkerson one was kinda surprising, but they aren't outrageous. Hicks was 2nd, but that's still only 2 pressures a game. It's not exactly making him look like Reggie White.

Siavii is a bust of monstrous proportions. He's not even young, either. Maybe the worst draft pick ever.
