Songs stuck in your head...
 

I started this thread to give everyone a place to talk about those songs stuck in their head. Maybe by posting it will help it leave.

Strangely enough, I have, "Everybody's Talkin'" by Harry Nilsson in my head. I'm trying to figure out what the lyrics are all about, but to no avail.

The little ones run around the house saying this all the time.

There was a point in time where I had Daft Punk's "Around the World" stuck in my head, off and on, for a period of like 3 years.

Nothing is in my head right now aside from a couple of songs ("Holy Water" and "Maiden of Darkness") from KC metalcore band Forlorn Hope.

Nothing's really stuck in my head right now, mainly because I'm currently listening to an album (Maiden's Dance of Death). But the song that was most recently stuck in my head for a long time (also known as an "ear worm") was "500 Miles" by The Proclaimers.

For me it has always been goofy songs that get stuck in my head. I used to get the 'The car went beep, beep, beep' song stuck in my head. Happy Trails used to get stuck in my head all the damn time.

A guy here at work and I used to try to get songs stuck in each others heads, I found that Safety Dance worked perfectly!

For the last couple of years, while driving home from work I suddenly start belting out one of two songs over and over (solo. No radio or CD backup):

1. Hey Jude- the Beatles
2. Save the Planet- Edgar Winter Group

"Big Buckin' Chicken" has been stuck in my head since the NCAA tournament. :mad:

"She Hates Me" by Puddle of Mud. I get this ear-to-ear grin everytime I hear it.
