Poor horse I was pullin for it.

That really sucks. RIP Barbaro. I was there when he won the Derby, what a performance...

This being a Chiefs board, I wonder how many people feared that Gary Barbaro had been euthanized.

I read a piece on ESPN that talked about all the surgeries that had been done on the horse, and how pieces of bone and hoof and everything else had been amputated.
For however long, like a year or whatever, the horse has been getting medical care at a standard that exceeds that of many countries in the world, and many places and stations in this country. I wonder what all of this animal's medical expenses could add up to? And on treatments that were from what I understood a longshot to begin with. What could have been done for real, actual humans for that price? Eh. Glue factory. Big deal. |

I know a few Chiefs that could be euthanized.

This is the dumbest, longest-running, most irrelevant sports story I can remember. Honestly, I would rather hear/read five TO stories than one more about this horse. |

Some of the comments in this thread just further my belief that animals make better people then most people. :shake:
If you don't care then stay the fuck out. If you do come in then shut the fuck up. Nobody put a gun to your head and made you click the link. A beautiful animal died and probably deserves more respect in his passing then many of the posters on this thread. |
Just think how much money would have been saved if they'd have just done this a year ago like they should have.
Sometimes, putting an animal down is the kind thing to do. |
