It's Raider week !!! AND home opener !!
 

I remember a time when either one of those would have this board lit up and on FIRE regardless of how good or bad either team was. The smack that got thrown was beyond belief and sometimes hysterical. How sad that we have BOTH occasions taking place this Sunday and there are so few people acting the least bit excited. As a CHIEFS fan for more than thirty years I have seen plenty of the good the bad and the ugly. I, for one, am pumped about this week. I can't wait to see our Chiefs roll the Raiders. I have no doubts we will win. It might be a blowout or it might be a last second score, but I have no doubt we will WIN !!! Maybe we need to call PEP RALLY!!! Call all fans forward..... bonfire time ..... KICK ASS TIME !!! LET'S GO CHIEFS !!!! I am on the bandwagon and in for the haul because the Chiefs are my team win or lose, good or bad, right or wrong, they are mine and I for one will support them every Sunday.

I have five kids at home, 3 boys 19,17,16 and two girls 14,11. I have taken my sons to at least one game a year for the last seven or eight years, but never have taken my daughters. In 06, we (my sons and I) went to see the Ravens game and the next weekend I had a severe heart attack. Long story short I was on the floor dead, but God has his hand on me and felt the need to keep me around a while. Last year I decided it was time to take my daughters to a game because even though it was never said, I think they feel cheated for never having been. Last year I made plans to take them to the home opener, but suffered another heart attack (not nearly as severe as the first) so we all decided maybe it wasnt a good idea. My mortality has been in my thoughts a lot since then and I decided I AM taking my daughters to a game this year. Dont know how much longer I will have that chance and I want to give them a memory of CHIEFS football other than CBS coverage from the living room. We will be there this year. On the front row in the upper deck.....great seats... I am just as excited for them to be there as I am to see another Chiefs game live and in person!!! I refuse to let anything or anyone get me down about this game or this team!!!
