Great Tamba And Turk Both Questionable
Herm's players all become injured.
---- Chiefs Update 9/19 September 19, 2008 - Bob Gretz | From The Truman Sports Complex The Chiefs defensive line had trouble stopping the run last Sunday. This Sunday, they may have trouble getting healthy defensive ends on the field. After the Chiefs wrapped up a 75-minute indoor practice, Herm Edwards said both starting DEs Tamba Hali and Turk McBride would be listed as questionable for participation against the Falcons in Atlanta. McBride has the abdominal strain that he suffered against the Raiders. He was a full participant in Friday’s practice. Hali, however, was a limited participant because of a knee injury that he suffered during practice. If both Hali and McBride can’t play, that would move rookie DE Brian Johnston into the starting lineup. At the least, he’s going to get a lot more playing time than he’s seen in the first two games, when he was sprinkled into the defense for a play or two. The other defensive end on the roster is veteran Alfonso Boone. On the practice squad is rookie DE Jason Parker, who would have to be activated and another player would have to come off the roster. Again, QB Brodie Croyle and CB Pat Surtain are both out of Sunday’s game with right shoulder injuries. One man’s guess would have Croyle, Surtain, LB Napoleon Harris, G Brian De La Puente and T Barry Richardson as five of the seven inactive players this week. The other spots will likely depend on how Hali and McBride are Sunday morning at the Georgia Dome. The Chiefs worked inside with piped in crowd noise since they’ll be playing inside on Sunday. How has Johnston looked in his limited time?

Is it just me, or does Hali seem to stay injured a lot?

Sweet! I've really been wanting to see more of Boone at Defensive End :(

They suck anyway. It's not like we were going to win.

Get use to it. It is a cuase and effect question. Do teams struggle due to injuries or do struggling teams bring on 'injuries'? Meaning, how anxious are players ready to leave the training table to put their bodies on the lone for a crappy team. It usually seems the worse a team is, the slower players recover.

It's like the fat girl sitting alone at the bar late on a Friday night. Part of you wants to take her home because there's the possibility that, inside, she's a beautiful person you would enjoy getting to know and another part of you wants to club her over the head with a chair. FAX |
Damn It Herm!

Brian Johnston will break out!

So it's safe to let Michael Turner start on my fantasy team.
Only question is whether to start Sproles or B. Westbrook opposite Burner. |
If you have to ask whether or not to start Brian Westbrook over Darren Sproles, I question if you are actually a cat who landed on his owner's keyboard and magically hopped around typing out that incredibly random, yet grammatically sensical, string of words.
