What the HELL is Clark waiting on?

Okay the league is just moving on without us, what the hell are we waiting on? Cant we just ****ing unload Herms ass now?

Teams are unloading the trash, looking at EVERYONE we have been talking about for months, are we going to sit around in Typical Chiefs fashion and let all the up and coming prospects get snatched up?

I really dont want to go shopping on the used retread lot and come away with guys like Marty, Cowher or some other has been...

This is our chance, the first chance we have had in 20 years to actually build a championship team. It would be nice if we are actually pro-active and not passive about something this serious....

Clark is probably off on vacation and can't be bothered with stoopid Cheaps stuff.

Clark actually thinks the league is going to sit around and wait for him to complete his 6-8 week search for a new GM.

I gotta think he's doing something. At least I hope he is.

Patience. We aren't hiring a coach until we get a GM anyway. We're talking to Pioli. Can't talk to Polian or DeCosta yet. All signs from all directions point to Clark's list consisting of the 4-5 up and coming guys everybody likes... I'm not saying we won't, but at this point we haven't screwed a single thing up yet.

Cleveland is playing this whole thing through the media, and the Hunts never do that. Crennel being fired was the absolute worst kept secret in the league, every columnist joked about it. Cleveland has played this thing through the media every step of the way. The Chiefs never disclose anything, you should know that by now.

What is the advantage of keeping Herm employed at this point?

That is my biggest concern.. How much more damage can Herm cause at this point?

2112 12-30-2008 07:59 PM

I would try and raid some of the Steelers player personnel people. they hit home run after home run in the draft and nobody is interested.

MahiMike 12-30-2008 07:59 PM

I 2nd the patience comment. My God, this 24/7 news media outlet is ridiculous. Some day they'll invent food that goes right thru you so you don't have to wait to take a shit.

Oh wait, it's called a Big Mac...

Herm is like a cancer, the longer he stays around the more damage is done to the franchise.

Reerun_KC 12-30-2008 08:00 PM

I am paitent, I just was wondering what the freak was going on???

I guess the thing that I am not patient about is the fact that HERM is still here!
