Coach Martin Hits KSU Player. Is this an issue?

Not trying to sling shit. I honestly don't know if something will be made of this. With all the player\coach crap that has been coming up in the Big 12. Video below...

Thoughts?

If this becomes an issue, the pussification of this country is complete.

Yes. Obviously.

I remember Bobby Knight tapped the underside of a kid's jaw to get him to look at him and ESPN freaked the ever living **** out. It may become an issue, but as Deez Nutz alluded to, it would be ridiculous.

He pretty much hit him on the backside, which is basketball commonplace

Brock 01-09-2010 04:50 PM

That's a hit?

Sorry, I missed it. I didn't ever see Martin's hand touch the kid. I saw him take a step back like there was impact, but I couldn't be sure. I then saw Martin swing an open hand, but it didn't look like he was hitting the guy. Sorry, I missed the obvious part.

He struck him in anger.

You can't equate the two.

Again. this isnt a big deal to me. But I am saying it could be.

Deni Clemente noogied Injun Joe MorningsTard last season harder than that. If it's an issue, I expect Craig James to call the new university president.

These. If he had hit him in the face or shoved him, maybe, but if this is a big problem, I'm gunna be pissed.

I was expecting a punch the way the header read, but I didn't see anything in the video that looked like a "hit" of any kind. Maybe he swatted him on the hip or something? Either way, I would sure hope that's not an issue.

Finger in the chest and a "that's your man."

We used to call this "youth basketball."
