Homer vs Anti-homer
I know I've seen both extremes on here. There's the unrealistic, head in the clouds, rose colored glasses type of person who makes outlandish statements due to believing his team can do no wrong. Then, there's the over-realistic person who analyzes every move, every decision, and every stat to the point where it seems the team can either do no good or it just takes all of the fun out of watching the game.
I realize that a vast majority of people on here fall somewhere in the middle. Let's say, though, that you could only label yourself one or the other. Which would you say you're most like? Just to make it fun, I'm going to make it a public poll. :) |
I like to think I fall in the happy medium.

I fall in the middle, but closer to homer than anti-homer. I prefer to see the glass as half full approach than live my life bitching and moaning about doom and gloom 24/7. This team has a LOT of holes on both sides of the ball. There's too many problems for this team to be a contender for at least a couple seasons. Assuming there's isn't a 2011 lockout which will only screw things up more.

i hate to say it cause i'm an antihomer on just about everything else, but when it comes to my chiefs i lean a little to the homer.

I'm anti stupid people.

The question is moot. Provide a third option my dear, somewhere in the middle...

I'd have to say homer. I tend to be optimistic, and sometimes, having a littel blind hope is fun.

Realist who nonetheless believes in the occasional earned & given Miracle.
IT CAN HAPPEN TO YOU!1! |
I try to be a realist, but when it comes down to it, I'm a homer.
