Aroldis Chapman's 105 MPH fastball.
I played baseball all my life and I was a lefty...
I would shit my pants trying to hit this guy and his 105 MPH fastball.. In fact, I wouldn't do it. |
P.S. This guy's arm is going to fall off in two years.
Interesting how there is a lot of mechanical theory behind the delivery of his pitches. Says a lot about pitching. A lot of it is mechanics.
Wasn't too helpful for him last night
He should figure out how to throw a knuckleball without altering his delivery. The possibilities are MIND-BLOWING.
Damn thats fast.
.03 of a second to decide to swing or not. Screw talking about how hard that is, let's look at how impressive the hitters that hit him are. That's freakin crazy.
I hit against a guy throwing 95mph once, and I didn't see the first 2 pitches until they were crossing the plate. The difference between 95 and 105 is HUGE. |

I haven't played ball in a long time, but I would have enjoyed the shot to hit against him. The faster they threw the more fun it was. (as long as they were accurate) |

Hopefully those future Tommy John surgeries will hold up
