What states have you been to?

Rules: In order to count it, you have to have slept in the state or eaten a meal while not in transit (e.g., not at an airport or while driving through).

This is probably a repost of an old thread, but we need to update our files every so often.

Edit: To clarify, "visited" or "been to" can also include "lived in".

Yeah, I think we already did this.

Might go with which ones have you not been to?

East and extreme north.

Attitudes and winters suck there.

Live in Illinois.

Slept/Eaten in Missouri, Wisconsin, Indiana, Kentucky, New York, California, and Utah. I've been to others but I can't remember if they meet the criteria.

I'm hoping to schedule some motorcycle trips soon and go to states I've never been to.

I'm only missing two states west of the Mississippi: Louisiana and North Dakota.

I'm missing a couple of deep south states: Mississippi and Alabama

I'm missing Michigan in the upper Midwest.

I'm missing a couple of mid-Atlantic states: Delaware and Pennsylvania.

And then all of New England is a mystery: Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine.

Most of them are states that aren't big enough to draw me on business and for some reason haven't drawn me as a tourist. I have no idea how I've missed Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Massachusetts. Those all are pretty good sized.

So I'm at 37 states so far. I've had a surge in the past three or four years, picking up Alaska, Hawaii, Washington, and North Carolina.
