First off Pioli would have to see BA as an utter failure and we are desperate for a LT. We are not.

If we move up it should be for a QB

To move up 8 spots would cost us a fortune for a LT that is mediocre compared to Jake Long, Joe Thomas and the Jets LT.

Kalil is elite for this yrs class of LTs but not in the elite class of previously mentioned LTs in the last 10yrs. He is a B- grade compared to these other guys and not worth losing picks for IMO.

Who could really get pissed at an O line of:

Kalil (22 y/o)
Albert (27 y/o)
Hudson (22 y/o)
Asamoah (23 y/o)
Winston (28 y/o)

That is a young, solid line with good balance.
All we would need is a QB for the next five years.

I'd love it. However, plenty of people around here would be pissed. I would love to see that line in KC.

Albert is in a contract year. If you move him to guard, you best be prepared to replace him immediately after the 2012 season ends.

Somebody will pay him LT money.
