The bad publicity is a good thing. Discuss.
I know some of you will disagree, but this news of how "classless" we were today as a fanbase is hitting all over the national media and I think it WILL BRING CHANGE.
How do think Clark Hunt feels about his Team and city embarrassing him like this on a national level? (Well, he could be watching soccer right now) Do you think Cassel is going to keep getting put out there? The boo's will continue to rain down and should. I actually THANK YOU Mr. Crybaby Eric Winston. You just got our cause onto Sportscenter. It's really sad that it had to come down to this in order for us to get our point across. This isn't Cassel's first year, and we are NOT in a rebuilding year (Mr. Trent Dilfer). We have dealt with this shit for far too long and it's time to come to an end. Let's keep up the good work! FLOP. http://cdn1.sbnation.com/imported_as...led_medium.gif |
who cares about the negative image well get. i dont leave kansas city much and i dont really give a **** about the rest of the dickbags that do care. not my problem. **** cassel and **** the organization

Negative publicity is a good thing.
My fear is that the negative publicity of fan insensitivity (I'm not saying it was... just saying that's how it's being publicized) is going to make the fans look unreasonable, instead of making the GM look ridiculous. I hope it doesn't distract from the national story, which is that Cassel is garbage and Pioli is garbage, and we shouldn't feel sorry for either of those guys. |
Classless fanbase that eventually wins
or A classy fanbase that takes it up the ass for another 40 years Choose wisely. |

Booing a healthy Cassel gets the point across...
Cheering when a man is down with a head injury is gutless and classless. Yeah, it wasn't too serious of an injury, but that's someone's son, someone's husband, someone's family. That's real life. It means more than football will ever mean. On the flip side... Today our fan base looked bad, but stuff like this will happen almost anywhere when the morale is at an all time low and you have a large group of angry people in a confined space. Any fan base in that situation would probably make a knee jerk reaction and cheer....it's still not justifiable though. |
The Chiefs aren't embarrassed by their continual ineptitude, if this is what it takes, fine.

If you think about, being labeled a "classless" fanbase is going to hit us hard how?
Is someone going to spank us and take our birthday away? no. Things will change, we will start winning, and then the fanbase will return to glory like the early 90's and all of this will be forgotten. (or remembered on how badass we were to revoke change) |
We are not classless, btw. We all respect Cassel as a person, but we were all happy to see the change that needed to happen at least a year ago.

I thought a bad performance today would open this front office up to a world of scrutiny. I think this was a very convenient distraction for Pioli. |
Oh ya, it's easy to be classy when you team is a winner.

The team has sucked ass for long enough. It's about time the fans make a stink about the trash product.

Don't get me wrong, we have good reason to be upset. Hell I'm just as upset as the next guy. I guess some of the stuff that's happened in my life this year has given me a different perspective on life and what's important. Say Cassel and gotten up woozy, the crowd cheers like they did today, and then he goes to the locker room and keels over dead....I strongly doubt any of you would be so vehemently defending your position that cheering an injured player was just.
