Does the fact that Romeo is still the HC reflect Piolis future?

...if Pioli fires Crennel midseason, it leads me to believe he will be allowed to hire his 3rd HC next season.

The fact Crennel is still here makes me think Pioli is on his last leg...it's Crennel or bust for him.

Pioli is not firing anyone.

He's just waiting for the axe.

Fansy the Famous Bard 11-02-2012 09:50 AM

I think they're all completely aware that their days are numbered and are just waiting to get fired at this point. Pioli\Crennel\the whole bunch. But for some reason it's just flat not happening from above.

I think the fact he made us the new england browns should reflect his future

Anyone know Clark Hunt't exact whereabouts right now? Hanging with Glass in NW Ark?

King_Chief_Fan 11-02-2012 09:58 AM

The fact that Daboll is the OC gets RAC fired and the fact that RAC is the head coach and DC gets Pioli fired and the fact that Pioli is GM should get ___________.

cjp27 11-02-2012 11:12 AM

The fact that Romeo is so bad that he deserves to be fired after 8 games is in itself a fireable offense by Pioli just for hiring him. No one gets fired until Pioli does. Then the dominoes start falling.

I see two options:

a. Wait the season out and fire everyone from the gm down.

b. Get a new QB in which case you are giving Pioli 3 more years. This option could be carried out with Romeo or more likely with coach 3.

Of course I favor a), but I'm not Clark.

The only reason, imo, that Pioli is here is because he negotiated himself one heck of a contract and it would be taxing for Hunt to fire him now.

Because there is no point in firing them right now.

What is that going to accomplish exactly?

The Chiefs are all of a sudden going to be inspired by Mo Carthon?

Clark is going to let this team ride the suck wave till the last 1/4 of the season, just like he did with Carl.

Molitoth 11-02-2012 11:53 AM

Yup. There really is no point to fire Pioli right now.
He needs to be here to take the brunt of the blame.

Hopefully Hunt is doing the prepwork on finding a replacement though....

Sweet Daddy Hate 11-02-2012 11:53 AM

Kill him. Kill him now.

DO IT!

What head coach would hire on with Pioli remaining as the GM?

Eric Mangini?
Josh McDaniels?
Charlie Weis?

Haha

There really is only one option in this scenario...
