Tell me about living in Las Vegas
Seriously considering a move in the next month to two months. I have some great job opportunities out there, and my wife and BIL have more opportunity out there as well. As much as I love where I'm at, adult Disneyland doesn't sound too bad either for a guy with no children. I have some questions I'm hoping some folks here can answer for me.
1. Where do I NOT want to live around Vegas? 2. Are there some temporary places available for us until we find long term housing? 3. My BIL works in the restaurant industry, and low level jobs. He's slightly mentally disabled but has a very good work ethic, and is self sufficient. What are average wages for just above low level jobs out there? What kind of tip money could a busser make in a decent restaurant? 4. How easy is it to get a pot card? I've seen sleep apnea, and all sorts of crazy shit getting you one of these in other states. How relaxed is it? And are there stores I can buy it from, or do I have to procure it on my own? I'm sure I'll think of more as I go along, and feel free to throw in any pertinent information you think I should be aware of. I appreciate the insight, and info in advance. |

Take me with you.

I just watched 3 episodes of counting cars
It seems you can stop people on the street at random in Vegas, buy their car, do stuff to it, sell it, and make lots of money just in case you are looking for a side gig Vegas would be a pretty cool place to be. Best of luck |
You'd be closer to me.

And lewdog does give the best handjobs.

Before you buy, check for uranium. I saw an episode of I Love Lucy once where they were finding uranium all over the place on a trip to Nevada.

Didn't you just buy a house?

My best friend was stationed at Nellis. He hated it. Hot and dry all the time gets old fast. As a higher ranking officer he made a good living, but it's not a happy place to live if you don't, which could suck for your BIL. His troops had all sorts of issues with gambling and being in debt.
And if you have an addictive personality, you're playing with fire, because everything bad for you is right there waiting 24/7. |
My brother lived there for years and loved it. Always said it's no different than any other city.
Only regret was buying a house, had a hard time getting rid of it when it was time move. |
There are a lot of murders there. I learned that watching CSI.
