I guess this is as good of a game as any for my first gameday thread. I hope I don't screw up the victory.

Let's hope Guthrie can build on his last start and get our starting pitching woes turned around. Here is to a series split and a little momentum going into our next series featuring two divisional first place teams.

I'm glad Salvy is getting the day off.

Where's Cain?

Day off. We have a tough series against the Yankees coming up. Get him and Perez rested.

Cain received a lot of rest last year and I think it helped him with injuries. It might of also helped him be in top form for the playoffs.

We went from -119 to -105 once the lineups were announced.

I like our chances still. Hopefully Guts can get us some innings and keep us in it. All we can ask for.

We have a chance if we can cool off the bats of Tejas... Otherwise it could be another night of BP.

They brought wood to the ball park and have used it on the Royals with complete disregard for human decency...

Truth be told. Royals lucky to be 1-2 against the Rangers to this point.

I think we're done with our alternate royal blues. Haven't worn them in over a month, despite many day game opportunities to wear them which is when we've worn them for the last few years.
