Say the Chiefs win 2-4 games this season and end up drafting a QB with their 1st pick.

Would you be willing to suffer through another season of Alex Smith? This is assuming that the rookie sits for the 1st season to get a handle on the offense. This also makes it so the Chiefs don't have to take a huge cap hit to cut Smith.

That's pretty much the perfect situation. I'm not a fan of throwing a first year QB to the wolves.

Three7s 10-12-2015 09:45 AM

Depends on the level of the QB. I know there's a lot of names in this next class, but anyone that could be an Andrew Luck and dominate right away? Doubtful. I don't care.

Yes.

Mr_Tomahawk 10-12-2015 09:46 AM

**** Yeah.

Give me Hogan, Hack, or Cook.

I'd mud wrestle my own grandmother for a first round QB

Eleazar 10-12-2015 09:49 AM

Yes, since I don't see them being able to fix the line this offseason. They've had multiple of seasons to address the line and it's only gotten worse.

Pay-per-view?

It's what the franchise should do and whom it needs to build around. The recipe has been out there forever.

While I agree.....I'm sure there are people that have had enough of Smith. There are also people that believe in throwing the rookie out there.

I'm sure there would be several of those advocators. I'd love to let him sit, but is Alex Smith really the best QB to let him learn behind?

I trust my my son around a mud puddle more than I trust the Chiefs to draft a QB.

Molitoth 10-12-2015 09:51 AM

I won't watch any more Alex Smith games, but am completely fine with drafting a QB and letting him sit a year.

Yes to Cook!

**** Hackenberg and any Penn State QB ever again

Hogan is worth discussing.

I'm becoming a fan of Jacoby Brissett - NCST

Strongside 10-12-2015 09:54 AM
