Proud father?
So tonight my son (19 years old) calls me to tell me a story about his day. He was off from work at Chase Bank and waiting at his other job Ted cafe. While waiting he met an older gentleman (early 80s) in overalls. They struck up a conversation, he informed my son that he just found out he had terminal cancer. The gentleman went and sat down alone. My son being like his father went and set with him so he wouldn't have to eat alone. They visited for over an hour and half, talked about life, girls, love, friends and family. My son picked up the gentleman's dinner tab. This story truly touched him as he was emotionally shaken while telling me this story.
I told him that your becoming a great man. You made me one proud father by your actions today. I Love you, Dad After he told me everything. I kinda sat back and a few tears rolled down my cheeks thinking about his actions. Nothing's better than seeing your son/daughter do something that makes someone else's day a whole lot brighter. |
You raised a good kid there.

Sounds like you raised him right. Good work to you and your son.

Great work.
Let's hope he changes your CP password soon. |

What your son done was very kind... You have a right to be proud...

I remember meeting your son and daughter probably nine years ago at your place in Edmond.
Good work raising him right. It's good to see when a teenager is a man. |

Nice work. Sometimes we all need someone to just listen.

Good story but kids never tell you the bad stuff they're doing. Nor should they

I see you're in Lexington. I'm going to guess there are a few people who hate me there. I believe that is a location where prisoners go before transferring somewhere else. |
