Happy Pi Day
3/14
I think these were posted in the Science is Cool thread, but thought it would be cool to post a couple of videos that show the coolness of how pi pops out of seemingly nowhere, in the oddest, yet easiest to comprehend, places. This one is amazing <iframe width="933" height="525" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/8GPy_UMV-08" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
And this one seems almost impossible

The rationale for the 2nd video

Also steak and BJ day. It's good that it's also my bday, as its reslly the only way to make sure I get a beej, a steak and some pie.

PAN DOWN! PAN DOWN!

It was nice of them to give Pi his own day after he made that movie about his life.

Finally, Thomas Magnum gets his own day. Long overdue

Happy Pi Day

I use pi all the time in my daily life. It's such an ingrained part of my circles that I don't even notice it any more.
