Anyone seeing Aerosmith tonight here aside from me?
|
The Geritol tour? I'll pass.
|
People still like Aerosmith?
|
tough crowd:eek:
i saw them about a year ago, i think...mostly just played songs from toys in the attic. ****ers are getting old, though. enjoy. sec |
Caught that show in Denver. Very, very disappointing.
|
Wow...i am really out of the loop...didn't even know they were gonna be here.
I don't know about now, but they were pretty good when i saw them at sandstone in 1990 (wow...i just realized that was 20+ years ago). |

Walker This Way Crazy (remixed)) Eat The Rich in Fiber We All Fall Down (remixed) |
I hate ballads, which seems to be the MO for that band

I read it, and as soon as I got to "Shitbag", I about spit out my chew. |
I went to see them back in the day as many of us may have. 1980ish.
Outside in Syracuse cops putting out your joint as soon as you lit it. The show was great...if you can get past them arguing on stage thru the night and it being obvious to everyone that it was going on. Crowd whispering about it and all. Even the reviews mentioned it. They were also too fcked up to do their songs justice. Of course it was during the time frame where it was known they were no longer jerking each other off on the bus. But to this day It has always left a bad taste in my mouth. |
They don't do much for me. I likea few songs, but not enough to spend the money.
I'd love to see Cheap Trick again though. |

Tyler was visiting OP Mall to see if there was a kiosk that sold scarves and lace
|
so, how was it?
sec |
Only 9000? Seems like kind of a small crowd for Sprint Center?

Word of mouth on this tour has been bad, and rightfully so. Saw them in Denver and it was the most mailed-in performance I've ever seen by any band. They simply can't do it anymore.

I saw them about 10 years ago at Sandstone. Good show, but I know longer care to watch a bunch of geezers on stage trying to reclaim their glory years. Unless you're talking about Rush. Those ****ers can still bring it. |

9000 people on a Wednesday night in the Midwest is an awesome draw. |

Besides Dream On, I've never enjoyed that band.

Sound- Flawless Light show- amazing Geddy, Neil and Alex- Best ever. Media- Very cool- with funny movies thrown in. Clockwork sounds Great live as well. Drummers should go just to watch the Professor- he is pounding the shit out of the skins this time. Its like he is kind of reckless- Keith Moon style- but doesn't miss a beat either. |

I hung out with Tesla at a record signing back in the day- Great down to earth guys- I am soo happy they are still kicking around- they work hard and deserve it. Cant wait to see this one!! |

I've seen Aerosmith at every Topeka or KC show since 1990. And once in Wichita. Except last night. Just had too much going on, and with going to Mexico in 3 weeks, didn't need to spend the money.
I am a big Aerosmith fan, but what I've heard off the new album sucks. They've gotten too pop on the last couple of records. They put on a good show though. |

I'd literally rather have a root canal.
