Meh. First one sucked. Second one was worse..

Was that John Goodman at 1:11?

First was good, sequel was fun i guess if you're bored and really felt like watching a comedy. I'll watch this from redbox.

Hawk 03-07-2013 05:20 PM

First one was funny. Last half of second one was funny. I mean these are not high art or anything. The giraffe clip from the trailer had me laughing. I will see it!

You think Anchorman sucked; therefore, your opinion doesn't count.

Anchorman is WAY overrated.

ThaVirus 03-07-2013 05:44 PM

Seriously though, I saw it on DVD after hearing for the previous 9 months how it was the funniest movie ever. Needless to say I was let down..

The second was like the same exact movie, except in Thailand and a different friend missing.

Booooooo.

ThaVirus 03-07-2013 05:44 PM

The Thai tranny scene from the second one was ****ing hilarious though; I will say that.

I think Anchorman is pretty damn funny, but will admit it's overrated by some who claim it to be one of the funniest movies of all time.

Hangover > Anchorman

Lumpy 03-07-2013 08:17 PM

The 1st one was great, the 2nd one was good, and this one looks like it will have some funny parts in it. I will definitely give it a chance.

hometeam 03-07-2013 08:22 PM

Ill wait for it to hit HBO~

'Hamas' Jenkins 03-07-2013 08:25 PM

The teaser didn't do it any favors. It looks like a disconnected mess.

This. I don't think the original story really lends itself to a sequel. Either you get the same formula in a new place or you just change it up and include the original characters. It's going to suck either way. Way more excited for the new Anchorman.

This! I didn't see it when it first came out and everyone said it was the funniest movie of all time. Then, I watched it about a year later and......I was very disappointed.

I wanted to stab someone when on the second one he was talking to his wife and said.......'honey, we did it again."

How in the **** can you do THAT again?

Tranny scene was funny

Sometimes movies like this work better when your sitting in the theater with an audience. Thats the way i saw the first one and i was laughing so hard in parts my eyes watered. The absolute funniest part was the end with the pictures. perfect payoff and the entire audience was rolling.

CoMoChief 03-08-2013 07:54 AM

1st one was hilarious.

2nd one was the same exact movie and wasn't nearly as good. In fact I haven't seen it since it first came out in theatre.

Hope they take a different direction w/ this movie. It's in Vegas again so who knows...

Yea, I understand that. I might have went into it like, "Wow me, bitch" and that could have been why I was let down.

what won't you give a chance?

;)

Pepe Silvia 03-08-2013 12:58 PM

I'm ok with this as long as its truly the final film in the trilogy. It would just get flat out reeruned if there were a 4th.

This thing opens tonight or tomorrow and it feels like there is zero buzz for it? Getting bad reviews too.....

How many times can you roll out the same movie?

Fish 05-22-2013 05:17 PM

Yeah, John Goodman passed away quite a few years ago. There was a big thread about it.

The CGI is so perfect you can barely tell..

If this was a drama I would trust critics. Critics never like comedy's and "stupid" movies like this. I don't really care what critics say about comedy's cuz they are always wrong.

I'm sure it won't be funny because they'll use the same storyline and the same jokes for the THIRD time.

I'm a hangover fan but even I won't see this on theaters. I'll netflix it or something.
