Nice - lockdown corner as opposed to when we signed a lockup corner (Damon Arnette)

What came first…the uniform colors or team name?

Sorensen moved to concussion sniffing dog handler

I was curious about the team name so I went looking, and there's no explanation at all. Here, for example, is what the team president wrote as a direct response, and it contains precisely zero usable information:
https://ottawasun.com/2013/06/08/ott...r-the-cfl-team What if that random guy had suggested Teacups? Or Lunar Modules? There's no explanation for this name at all. The only thing I can even theorize is that perhaps a previous football incarnation used those colors for reasons that are also not explained. |

Ottawa is a nice city. Would be a cool place to live for a few years. Canada, not Kansas...

Secondly, I'd not put much stock in Clark's drunk (but rich) Canadian cousin, https://www.cfl.ca/2013/06/07/ottawa...name-and-logo/ https://www.ottawaredblacks.com/history/ |

Dude looks like he can play.

We need to make Sneed happy before his reputation starts spreading. The dude is a baller.
|
This Dandruff must be head and shoulders above the rest. But must cool my heels as he could flake off in the NFL.
|
Hope this guy can cover the likes of Mike Williams, Renfro, Jeudy, etc. AFC West is loaded with talented wide outs.

Burt Vetch being Burt Vetch. Need depth. The Clarks approve.
KC Chiefs sign cornerback Brandin Dandridge after multiple workouts The Kansas City Chiefs have agreed to terms on a contract with former CFL cornerback Brandin Dandridge after having him in for a couple of workouts in the last several days. The Chiefs originally hosted Dandridge at Arrowhead Stadium for a workout with a few other players last week, including former Missouri star pass rusher Shane Ray. Included in the mix was Dandridge alongside wide receiver Justin Watson. Watson was given a contract immediately following the visit. Joseph Potts, CEO of TopSpeed LLC, says the Chiefs also Dandridge in for a second workout to check him out before signing him to a deal. Dandridge has been playing in the Canadian Football League with the Ottawa RedBlacks since 2019. Last season, he put up 11 total tackles and 4 interceptions and with a future possible in the NFL ahead of him, Ottawa agreed to release him so he could pursue the opportunities. As for his place with the Chiefs, the signing feels like the sort of offseason moves the Chiefs have made at the position in years past with the likes of Keith Reaser or even Mike Hughes. Dandridge is nothing to count on here, but he’s an extra body to bring to camp knowing that Hughes and Charvarius Ward aren’t sure things to return as unrestricted free agents set to hit the open market. With Dandridge in the fold, other potential flyers in the secondary include Devon Key, Chris Lammons (who would be returning on an exclusive rights deal), and Dicaprio Bootle. Dandridge comes with return experience from his days at Missouri Western State as well. https://arrowheadaddict.com/2022/02/07/nfl-head-coaching-hires-debunk-questions-eric-bieniemys-impact/ DRAFT PROFILE 2019: https://draftscout.com/dsprofile.php...DraftYear=2019 |

RedBlacks.. weird name. I guess I get the reasoning but still weird.
Coincidentally they have a similarly weird name for their basketball team but the logo looks really quite cool to me... A black jackrabbit... interesting... https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped...jacks_logo.png |
