Mizzou tied for third most draftees!?!

That seems crazy. Of course, the Chiefs did their part to help that stat.

Mr_Tomahawk 04-26-2009 12:56 PM

Neat.

Frazod 04-26-2009 01:08 PM

Sulak will probably go as well.

KCinNY 04-26-2009 01:10 PM

Tells me Mizzou may be lookin' at 6-6 this fall.

Probably.

If we could go 8-4, I would be elated.

Maclin is not replaceable. Hood will be difficult to replace. Coffman will be as well, but there are two guys with the ability to play at a high level (not Chase's level, though). Moore's replacement is very good as is Brown's. Sulak's replacement is likely better than he was.

The biggest loss, however, might be Wolfert. It's difficult to replace the most accurate kicker in NCAA history.

I agree about Wolfert.

Sheldon Richardson, from what I hear, is supposed to be a total beast. Gabbert has the skill set to be awesome.

Pitt Gorilla 04-26-2009 08:18 PM

MU has 6 players drafted. Nice.

58-4ever 04-26-2009 08:20 PM

Go third place! ROFL

ChiTown 04-26-2009 08:27 PM

I think there's a trophy that comes with finishing 3rd.....

lol

I don't recall a trophy, but I'm guessing it will really help with recruiting.

BWillie 04-26-2009 08:42 PM

Nope. Daniel, Patton, Christopher, & Wolfert will all get chances as free agents.

KCrockaholic 04-26-2009 08:47 PM

I wonder why no one wanted Wolfert? You would think the most accurate kicker in NCAA history would have been drafted.

You only get a trophy for 3rd place if you go to the trophy store and have them make one that says "co-champions" even though there's no such thing.

you would think that people would want the most accurate NCAA kicker of all time but didn't that kicker that we drafter a couple years ago hold a couple records to? and we all saw how that panned out:banghead:

I guess there are no more excuses, eh? Still...zero players drafted? Didn't the fat man have any seniors on the team?

You know what the really funny part is? Our undrafted players beat your drafted ones.

I was there to see the 2008 game, were you?

Yeah, we laughed really hard the previous year when Sod got all messed up in the end zone. The 2006 game was also a hoot.
