Carson Palmer unwilling to restructure?
Word on the street is that Palmer is not open to restructuring his contract. I predict he'll go somewhere like Arizona. McKenzie may draft a QB this year after all. Unless said QB really impresses I'd expect Pryor to start next year.

ok.

Not a **** was given...
|
Well good luck with that

He knows he is not highly wanted anymore but still does not want to stay in the black hole.

Damn the Raiders are going to get Matt Barkley and its going to haunt us for the next decade.

I'm going to build a statue, in honor of our quarterback...who was also a statue.

So you traded a 1st and a 2nd for a season and a half of shifty QBing. Sweet.

Whats the story with this guy? On paper, his stats look good from last season and actually are decent taken as a career whole.
But then you look at his record as a starter and he blows. 54-67 overall. IM guessing he never performs in crunch time or cant ever get a lead? Only a garbage time QB. |
Who?
|
What a train wreck of an organization. 1st and 2nd for 7 wins and a bunch of empty yards. Heading into a season with Terrel Pryor as the QB would be even more gold.

Pryor showed a ton of poise in the game he started for them last year and I've read that he has an excellent work ethic. Still a project, but very intriguing prospect, IMO. |

I don't see the Raiders drafting Geno, since they already have a project QB in Pryror and a shit ton of holes to fill everywhere on the team.
**** the Broncos, but I'd actually like to see the Raiders and Chargers become respectable and bring the AFC West back to being a feared division. |
Father Time is going to hit the Donks like a bitch. By playoff time Peydaton's wobble launcher was on empty. He better reload on stem cells and HGH this offseason again.

sort of a big deal
If the Faiders do cut Palmer then teams will have to assume the the Faiders will go Quarterback in the draft at 1.3. That cuts down the teams they have to work with on a trade up to the Jags and Chiefs. more value for us |
Quote:
Palmer being released gives teams another option to trading up to draft a QB. |
Quote:
You really think all the other teams in the NFL can count on the Faiders doing that? |
Quote:
Pryor's been there 3 years, started a game last year, and didn't cassel himself in it. He's basically an advanced rookie. He's a mobile qb at the height of the mobile qb era of the nfl. I just don't see how him starting at QB would be any different from a rookie starting there. |
Quote:
whatever screwed up stuff happened because of Palmer can't stop you from making proper player evaluations now |
who gives a F .....

I still think saying the raiders need to draft a qb in the first round is like everybody saying the chiefs need a LT first overall. Just as our Oline was the least of our worries, the Raiders seemed to have far bigger problems than bad QB play. |

Has there ever been a more difficult player in the NFL to do contracts with than Carson Palmer?

So how much money have the chiefs spent since the last playoff or superbowl win... And now the legacy continues with Alex Smiff That's what I thought LMAO:p |

Also, I do not support the trade for Smith. YOU were all for trading for Palmer.

Both guys have 3, 4000 yard seasons. Green threw for 4500 yards in one season. Palmer never did that. |

Or take a kicker at #17. Even if the crazy bastard could be a HOFer.
