Without knowing the status of the puff puff pass rush, and being the pessimist I am, I would put a LARGE wager on Denver.

Sagarin has Denver (-2.5) on a neutral. Home field is worth 4.15 points this year. So his system says Denver +1.5.

Not really a good game to bet at this point without knowing the injury status of each team. Chiefs on the money line is probably the best bet just because of the potential return.

A guy I used to work with had his hobby as betting on football. Meaning, he would allocate $700-1000k / yr for betting; no more. he was always successful, would at a minimum break even. took his wife to Hawaii a few years back with his winnings, and ended up hanging out with John Reep and his wife each night at the pool until about 2am lol. that shit would be fun.

The over seems like a give me. Manning is good for 25 minimum and probably 35 and the Donkie D is suspect. The way our O has been playing of late they won't hold us under 21 and probably will push 30.

Our DBs know they got embarrassed last week and will be looking to step their games up and if they don't, people will all them overrated. They honestly feel they are the best secondary in the league and will be on a mission to prove as much.

I'll argue that our DBs are two of the slowest DBs and were only masked the weeks previous by an outstanding pass rush. Flowers might be the biggest disappointment on this entire team considering his previous years of outstanding play and his drop this year.

Denver's Oline owned our Dline when everyone of the Chiefs was healthy. Our Dline being healthy for this game is obviously in question.

We saw crossing routes against the Donks and defended them WORSE against the Bolts a week later.

I don't see any of this getting better against the Donks.

Really? Man, I'm pretty optimistic after the complete shit that Denver took last night and how our offense looked. Sure, we'll need to be much better on defense, but when all things shake out...we're at Arrowhead. There won't be an empty seat in the house, it's December and it will be LOUD. If one of our pass rushers is able to go, I think we can win for sure.

It's probably just the taste from the last two weeks but I just don't see us winning. It seems as if offenses know how to attack our D even with the duo in.

San Diego did nothing until both Houston and Hali were out. We obviously had no reason to plan on playing defense without those guys and the Chargers took advantage of it in what was in reality a desperation game for them.

With a week to actually prepare I think we can adjust. In fact one good thing is that a lack of confidence in a four man rush should lead to more blitzes. Combine that with playing the WRs tight and physical like NE did u think the defense can do enough to win the game.

Also, the offense has a good chance to repeat what they just did against a banged up defense we saw glimpses of it against the Donks the first time but we were just a little off which is understandable given that we hadn't been throwing much down field. Against the Chargers Smith did a better job of staying in the pocket and not giving up on plays with check downs or taking sacks. That is why he had success with deep passes and why we finally had receivers running completely wide open.

FOR the Chiefs the current money line is +175, so if you bet $100 and win you get $275 back (the $100 you bet plus the $175 for winning)

I have had a pretty decent run over the last month or so, I'm still playing with their money right now.

House money makes it hurt less, for sure. If you'd have asked me 2 weeks ago, I'd have taken Denver. After gaining some confidence in our offense, seeing Denver completely collapse Sunday, and now knowing that their best run stuffer is out for 6 weeks...I'm taking the Chiefs.

We're at home, it will be dark/getting cold by halftime, crowd noise is going to be INSANE, Hali should be able to go, we've got fresh tape and will hopefully follow the Pats game plan a bit. If Jamaal has a big game, we win. Period.

Using online betting you can do something similar. For example, if you take an under at 50.5 for $100, at half time the score is 10-7, and the second half o/u is 20.5 and you take the over for $100, that is a range of 48-50 where you win both bets.

Also, you cannot lose since one of your bets is guaranteed to hit. I have done quite well with that in the past. It works even better on basketball since those ranges (specifically the one where you win both bets) tend to be larger.

Over 20.5 for the second half only.

But, I think his range to win both bets (under for entire game and over for second half) would be 38 - 50.

Because in his example, the o/u for the 2nd half 20.5. If the score goes over 20.5, he wins the over and long as the score doesn't go over the inital 50.5 he wins both bets. If the score stays under 20.5 he still wins the first bet.
