Broncos open as 2.5 favorites and now
-3 with an over/under of 47.5
UPDATED Wed Nov 27th 12:30 p.m. KC now -5.5 dog now Sunday morning Broncos -6.5 |
Only 2.5 points?
|
Without knowing the status of the puff puff pass rush, and being the pessimist I am, I would put a LARGE wager on Denver.

so does the 'negative' sign in the odds/lines indicate the favorite?
Meaning, you could be on Denver if you thought that they'd score 3.5pts more than the chiefs? |
Denver got beat up Sunday as well. They had like 3 injuries.

I am surprised its not higher.

Overtime game.
On the road. Late. Beat up. If our defense wasn't a pile of shit right now, we should beat the hell out of Denver. |

Basic NFL dipshit. Look up the record of teams after an OT game when you get done fisting your brother. |
beyond the obvious injuries, the OL & WR's were the difference yesterday compared with the denver game.
hope the ****ing experts noted the obvious point, they love obvious for some reason |
Not really a good game to bet at this point without knowing the injury status of each team. Chiefs on the money line is probably the best bet just because of the potential return.
|
A guy I used to work with had his hobby as betting on football. Meaning, he would allocate $700-1000k / yr for betting; no more. he was always successful, would at a minimum break even. took his wife to Hawaii a few years back with his winnings, and ended up hanging out with John Reep and his wife each night at the pool until about 2am lol. that shit would be fun.
he's pretty selective in his games though; and primarily best on NCAA. he tried to explain all the betting terminology once....I retained it for a day, then lost it lol |
The over seems like a give me. Manning is good for 25 minimum and probably 35 and the Donkie D is suspect. The way our O has been playing of late they won't hold us under 21 and probably will push 30.

I wouldn't touch this game unless I knew what the status of Hali and Houston are. If we are without both, Chiefs should be figured to fall hard.
|
I wouldn't worry too much, fellas. Alex Smith has shown that he can put this team on his back and march to the end zone. Victory is assured!
|
I just took that bet with Denver -3.5. Easy money.

Just know this: Our DBs know they got embarrassed last week and will be looking to step their games up and if they don't, people will all them overrated. They honestly feel they are the best secondary in the league and will be on a mission to prove as much. I think if either Hali or Houston play, we have a good chance at a win. |

Denver's Oline owned our Dline when everyone of the Chiefs was healthy. Our Dline being healthy for this game is obviously in question. We saw crossing routes against the Donks and defended them WORSE against the Bolts a week later. I don't see any of this getting better against the Donks. |
Holy shit. That's way lower than I expected.

Because we just played Denver last week (which would be "of late"too) and only scored 17. Posted via Mobile Device |
I see chump bailey is gonna play this week. We need to target his old ass early and often. Dude is finished
|
I hope someone can convince me otherwise (and I'm typically a pretty optimistic person) but for the first time this year I don't think we have even the slightest chance on God's green earth to win this game.

How many times has Manning lost back to back games in the past 10 years?

and then last night I got an email put a tomahawk in them they are done I can't argue with that then much later after the denver pats game I responded is there anything denver can't choke on? |

So that's pretty much the home-field advantage right? At Denver it was about -6, and if home-field is worth about 3...

I think we're ****ed. 5 seed is ours though.

I can't bet on games like this. You just never know what could happen

With a week to actually prepare I think we can adjust. In fact one good thing is that a lack of confidence in a four man rush should lead to more blitzes. Combine that with playing the WRs tight and physical like NE did u think the defense can do enough to win the game. Also, the offense has a good chance to repeat what they just did against a banged up defense we saw glimpses of it against the Donks the first time but we were just a little off which is understandable given that we hadn't been throwing much down field. Against the Chargers Smith did a better job of staying in the pocket and not giving up on plays with check downs or taking sacks. That is why he had success with deep passes and why we finally had receivers running completely wide open. |

Just seems like the Defense has been average for the last 5 weeks....Even thou they had two TD's in Buffalo, they really havent dominated like they did in the first 6 weeks.... |

I went with the money line instead. $509 on Denver at -203 to win $250.

The money line is -203. You would have to bet $203 on Denver to win $100 (plus you obviously get your $203 back).
FOR the Chiefs the current money line is +175, so if you bet $100 and win you get $275 back (the $100 you bet plus the $175 for winning) |

I have had a pretty decent run over the last month or so, I'm still playing with their money right now. |

We're at home, it will be dark/getting cold by halftime, crowd noise is going to be INSANE, Hali should be able to go, we've got fresh tape and will hopefully follow the Pats game plan a bit. If Jamaal has a big game, we win. Period. I think it will be close, but I think we get it done. |
-3.5 now,the bettors are laying their money on Denver

Don't know his, but I got KC at 50-1 (only for $10)

I've heard it takes a million dollars to move a Vegas line 1/2 a point and KC is now a -5.5 dog after starting at -2.5,wow.

That's a little bit of money. |

Bodes well.
Bet against the masses, gentlemen. |

Also, you cannot lose since one of your bets is guaranteed to hit. I have done quite well with that in the past. It works even better on basketball since those ranges (specifically the one where you win both bets) tend to be larger. |

But, I think his range to win both bets (under for entire game and over for second half) would be 38 - 50. |
