Recommend me a Beer
I usually drink Miller Lite or Natural Light and never try much of anything else unless I visit a restaurant with a micro brewery in it so....
What would someone like me who drinks 12-14 on game day find a tasty treat that I can buy at most regular stores. |
Newcastle
Michelob Ultra Modelo Especial Blue Moon Pyramid Hefeweizen |
How is that Blue Moon you speak of? I see it everywhere on tap here
|
I can't stand Blue Moon. :Lin:
|
Blue Moon or Boulevard wheat.
|
How bout Samuel Adams?

"If" you can get it down there, try this: http://www.thebeersnobs.com/wp-conte...skan-Amber.jpg |
Ok not first choice.

I don't like Bitter beer is this bitter Bwana?
|
It's a light beer, goes down very easy. Some people like to add a slice of orange to them. The orange compliments the beer very well. IMO its similar to Rolling Rock, just has a touch more citrus taste. Great beer. Has more alcohol content than a Newcastle.
|
Anybody like Yuengling?

I have drank many rolling rocks, kinda thick beer |

I don't always drink mass produced beer, but when I do, I prefer Dos Equis. If you're drinking a 12-pack or more, maybe would go a little cheaper. As a cheap alternative, I like Miller's Amber Bock. If you've got it available, Murphy's Irish Red Ale is very tasty. |

You're a Raider fan.
The cheapest beer should be good for you. |

Are you looking for something else that's cheap so that you can down them in a hurry or seriously looking to branch out into the world of non-crap beers? I'm a bit of a beer snob, so my general rule is to stay away from all Domestics and Imports whenever possible and instead look for a good craft brew.
If you're new to the craft world, the best kinds to get into without feeling like they're too weird are generally ambers and wheats. There are tons of them out there, so I won't mention specifics to try - be adventurous! Not that it REALLY matters, but the beer snob in me requires me to inform you that Blue Moon is made by Coors, Shock Top is made by Budweiser, and Leinenkugels is made by Miller. The beers themselves are fine, but I usually steer clear out of principle. |

I'm all about Hoeggarden http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_kEK8S-b4Lt...hoegaarden.jpg Also, Sam Adams Oktoberfest is out. http://www.brewgene.com/sites/defaul...ser5_77592.jpg |
If you're planning on knocking back 12-14 I'm not sure I'd go with a dark beer.
|
Guiness didn't do much for me either

Shiner Bock from Texas when I'm in a bar with only bud/miller etc, and I'm feeling too cheap for a microbrew, this is the beer I look for...not sure if you find it in california easy to drink, just a touch sweet, doesn't taste like urine |

BTW, one thing you might not know is that smaller breweries don't distribute everywhere. So, for example, I can't get Yeungling here (though I've tried it many times). That's part of why it's hard to recommend something specific - it's tough to know what you'll find out in your area.
|
If you are poor Upper Deck scum like me, Keystone Light will do the job well.
|
This is a Micro Brew/Steakhouse here and I love this beer, based on the description, pick me out a store bought beer

On that page, it calls it an American Pale Lager. If you click on that style, you'll get a list of tons of others that should be similar. I've had Moosehead's lager - it's tasty. That might be hard to find though. |
if you are looking to drink a shitload..try a real pilsner, crisp, easy to drink, and low alcohol

(Saison's in general are incredibly delicious beers, but they do get to be a little sweet if you have a bunch at once.) |
