The most ****ed up case of bullying I've ever heard of. Got her to flash him her breasts when she was 12, then stalked her for 3 years demanding more, and when she refused, sent her flashing picture to all the kids, teachers, and staff at her new schools. And she constantly changed schools. Finally, earlier this month, she committed suicide.

WOW

Bane 10-17-2012 05:28 AM

Good.

BlackHelicopters 10-17-2012 05:50 AM

Twisted beyond belief.

jspchief 10-17-2012 05:55 AM

Yep. They put out his address and all kinds of other shit about him. Maybe the world will get lucky and he'll be harassed to the point of suicide.

We live in a ****ed up world. This poor girl's death didn't even end her tormenting. I just read that pictures of her nude, deceased body lying on a coroner's table hit the ****ing web as well. How in the **** does that happen?

Bugeater 10-17-2012 06:08 AM

Heh, have fun with that Kody.

32 year old dude. Yikes.

BlackHelicopters 10-17-2012 06:24 AM

Kody Maxson. sounds sorta like a porn name.

Goldmember 10-17-2012 06:29 AM

Apparently, the pictures of her body on the coroner's table isn't true

“Another rumour involved the supposed release of Amanda Todd’s autopsy photos. This was quickly debunked by the BC Coroner’s Service but nevertheless caused extreme stress for Amanda’s family and distracted investigators for hours.”

And presumably child porn charges, right? if he was distributing photos of her as a pre-teen he's got a problem brewing.

anonymous is the modern version of a superhero when you think about it. great power, secret identity, and bringing cretins like this to justice.

Kody Maxon is the man that bully and stalked Amanda Todd and she eventually took her own life. This "man" is an abomination. He got her to flash him her breasts when she was 12, then stalked her for 3 years demanding more, and when she refused, sent her flashing picture to all the kids, teachers, and staff at her new schools. Parents, educate your children about on line predators and what they can and will do. Never let your kids have a computer in thier room, only allow them to be on the internet in the living room with the family. Use this tragedy to make a difference and to protect our children from scum like this.

Just put him into general population and let the inmates know what he did and the problem will take care of itself.

BlackHelicopters 10-17-2012 07:10 AM

Maybe Maxson can share a cell with Sandusky.

Grim 10-17-2012 07:15 AM

I hope that this Kody Maxon is truly the guilty party.
It's pretty scary how easily a person can be accused of something and immediately have their life and livelihood endangered because of it.

Mildly surprised that no CPers made a similar video accusing Scott Pioli of bullying her to death.

ReynardMuldrake 10-17-2012 07:17 AM

I don't agree with the doxxing. If they have hard info on the guy they should just turn it over to the police. Enjoy the child porn charges.

stevieray 10-17-2012 07:19 AM

meanwhile, our culture will still present young teens dressed like adutls, and today thousands of teen girls will pouting their lips in pics on facebook.

it's an ugly, ugly monster.

It's not that hard to trace an email back to where it came from. Once you have a name, getting personal information off of the internet doesn't take much longer.

Got a friend that says he buys boy pants for his 9 year old daughter because he can’t find pants for her that aren’t low riding hip huggers.

Understood.
I didn't trace the email. I don't know the person who traced the email. An anonymous person on the interwebs claims to have done it and claims that Kody Maxon is the guilty party.
An anonymous person says a name and the lynch-mob immediately forms. Scary shit.

God, this world we live in can be so *****ed up at times.

The internet and social media has dulled our actual feelings of compassion. It has given cowards and predators a podium from which to speak, and a shield to hide behind. Sad.

griZZly64 10-17-2012 08:19 AM

I have a hard time finding a reason not to blame Amanda and her parents for this tragedy. First off why does a 12 year old have a webcam? Yeah it's impossible nowadays to keep a kid off the net, but why buy her a webcam? NOTHING good comes from owning a webcam if you're a child. Whats more appalling is the fact that her parents weren't successful in defusing the situation. Instead they gave into all her emotions instead of teaching her how to learn from this silly mistake.

Then there's Amanda. You mean to tell me she couldn't handle life because there was a picture of her breasts being circulated over the internet and around her city? I find that to be ridiculous. Everyone does things they wish they could take back. But come on.. this whole bullying phenomenon erks me big time. Kids have been teased and bullied since the beginning of time. Now all of a sudden these kids are killing themselves over it? I blame the parents and society for not equipping our youth with ways to deal with "bullying."

The dude who kept pursuing her and making life hard on her is a scumbag.. yes I agree. But it's how a person reacts to harassment that opens them up to being bullied. If she just ignored the dude instead of changing schools and posting youtube videos the dude woulda got bored n gave up.

And the getting beaten up for sleeping with another girls boyfriend.. that doesnt need explanation. What would you do if you found out some dude was bangin your old lady? Probably load up the shotgun or pound your fist through his skull. Plus she's how old? 15 or something having a one night stand? Where's the parenting??????????

The whole situation could and should have been avoided. A poor girl resorting to suicide over something she did as a 12 year old is sad. Her actions and her parents actions/inaction deserve 100% of the blame.

I agree with parts of this, but saying that her parents deserve 100% of the blame suggests that this child predator is blameless. **** that noise.

OMG... teenagers are having sex!?!?!?! It's not 1950, get over it. Everyone makes mistakes as children, I did, you did, your kids, my kids, however I doubt anyone had that mistake sent to everyone we know to humiliate us over and over. Exposing herself on the internet isn't what caused her to take her own life. The scumbag humiliating her time after time and her believing it was never going to end caused that.

Blaming the girl and her parents is pretty reprehensible.

I have four children, two boys and two girls. I have only allowed computers that are accessible to the children to be placed in the living room, in plain view of the entire family. I have also consistently enforced a set of rules regarding internet usage. Kids will be kids. They will have to deal with sexuality as they mature and it happens earlier than a lot of people realize. As a parent you hope to help your kids through that. I don't blame her parents for her death. It was her own unfortunate choice. I do blame the guy that harassed her for causing extra stress in her life that she shouldn't have had to deal with.

How old are you?

Sometimes you have to remember how strange the teenage mind is. It rarely makes any sense, everything is either the greatest thing in the world or the end of the world.

I'm sure a lot of teens think about suicide. Some of them just need that push.

TheGuardian 10-17-2012 09:55 AM

Ummmm how is blaming the parents bad? No 12 year old should be online in chat rooms. Spare me the "it's 2012" speech. That's right. It is. If you're a responsible parent you don't put your kids on the ****ing internet unsupervised.

For kids, getting over really simple things can be hard. Your life is very "small" so something as "minor" to us, like a picture of breasts, can be a real wrecking ball to a kids life. A lot of kids don't have great relationships with their parents either, and again that's the parents fault.

It's our job to be the safe keepers for our children. When we fail, they pay the price.

We have ONE computer in our house that is located in our Kitchen/Hearth Room area. This seems to work for my 11 and 14 yr old boys. I know it sure as hell works for us.

I see where you are coming from but bottom line is any adult that encourages a 12 year old child to show him her private parts has committed pedophilia in my mind and is subject to street justice. Period.

All joking aside though, one of the strongest building blocks that will help you raise a daughter is just to be a good man. She will be looking at you to see what a man is, and using you as a guideline for the rest of her life. Set a good example.

You can take whatever precautions or establish any rule you want, but if the child wants to do it then they will figure out a way to make it happen. I know I did.

That's generally because a lot of parents don't educate their kids properly about the world. If you don't use your own controlled environment to teach your kids about what a meat grinder the world can be, someone else will, or they will have to learn in a way like this girl learned.

As I said, it's our job to be our kids safe keepers. That also means educating them about these things and not sugar coating it. We watched Traffic with my 14 year old a few months ago. That movie really hit home with her. As someone who grew up dealing with a sibling that was an addict, I never ever want to see my kids travel down that path. So I will do whatever it takes to let them see how ugly it can get, before they are actually IN that ugly.

We have 3 boys and it is a daily thing to keep them safe and navigate the waters for them in this new digital world.
Having said that, thank God we don't have daughters.

This story doesn't make much sense. So a 32 year old guy sent nude pics to her classmates and teachers but was never arrested? I thought she was picked on because she banged some popular chicks bf? Regardless rip to that little girl so sad.

I remember when I was in 4th grade my friend and I were being picked on outside by some middle schoolers. Grandpa came out holding a shotgun and that was that.

Me too. My 9 yr old daughter has been begging for internet access on her PC, so she can "play and download games".... My wife has been trying to push me to let her...

I am scared for 8 years from now... Have a 4, 7 and 9 year old girls, currently...

At what point are you all going to allow your kids to have phones with data plans? Ipads? I need to get my iPad on lockdown, as my kids use it quite often. It's scary how quickly they can go from inadvertently from watching a kidz bop video to something completely inappropriate without even meaning to.

My kids are just exploring, pointing and clicking at this point, while I'm supervising at least to some degree, because they're too young to really do anything intentionally wrong. That being said, I want to make the iPad safe for them to use.

I had an incedent in 5th grade, where a 6th grader (that had even been held back a year) was following me and my friend home from school trying to fight us... We ended up running all the way to my buddies house where his brother (who was a Junior in High School at the time) was in the front yard... Kid even tried to be tough to the brother and fight him... what a knucklehead. That was the end of that.

Yup the best way to handle a bully is to hit them in the face. I just don't understand this story at all. Nobody stepped in to report this 32 year old man? That little girl was pretty i'm very surprised nobody had her back.

That's up to you as a parent. If you educate your kids and monitor thier activity (not sure if you can look at history on an iPad) and call out anything that looks suspicous to you.

There is no one answer or magic bullet. But if we as parents help teach our kids and take the precautions to ensure that our kids are not available to be exploited but the scum of the Earth we can make this a better place to live.

This x a billion.

Too many people in this world wanting to be their child's best friend. If you want to be your child's best friend then you have to do what it takes when they are young so that can grow into the kind of adult you would associate with.

Another misconception is that you can protect them and control their environment totally. That's not how it's done. You protect them by arming them with the knowledge to make a rational choice. Just like teaching a child how to drive, you don't just throw them the keys and say good luck.

:clap::clap::clap: Well put!! :clap::clap::clap:

You cannot explain why there is evil in the world, you simply have to accept it as a fact and make a plan from there.

The most bothersome thing about this that I've seen is the lack of action by the parents short of running away.

That and they're now setting up a fund for people to donate money to.

OK. I just can't watch that video to the end. It's too much, knowing that she committed suicide. I do want to comment about this:

Why? If two people are in a relationship, and one of them cheats with a single person, why does the other person in the relationship go after the single person? That has got to be the dumbest reaction possible. Why are you not blaming the person who cheated on you?

sad deal. bad parenting, a teenage girl, and a pedophile all added up to suicide. First, don't allow your 12 year old on chat sites. Next, when she asks to move schools due to bullying, go to the parents of the other kids and to the school, don't just move. Be there for them. Teenage years can suck, they need support. I'll get flamed for saying this, but if my kid is getting bullied, the bully's parents are gonna be dealing with me and I'm gonna be pissed off. It happened with my little girl, and a quick conversation with the bullying punks father in front of his son took care of that. This is a sad story and our society does enable kids to do this but ultimately its up to the parenting.

MIAdragon 10-17-2012 01:05 PM

This guy would have disappeared the moment I found out about the pictures. D E A D.

Yup. Go to the school, drag the other parents into the office if you don't already have a relationship with them.
