"Chuck" on NBC
 

Is anyone else totally digging this show? Perfect blend of comedy, *light* drama, and storytelling.

Captain Awesome is my favorite character ROFL

Couldn't get past the first episode. And I only watched 10 minutes.

Course, I don't like the Sarah Silverman show like many people here do. I absolutely loathe that show.

And the chick is hotter than fried corndog grease....especially in her uniform where they fry the corndogs at.

I thought the show would be completely corny but it has been great.

I thought the first episode was quirky, but lately they have been doing a decent job of adding a bit more of a story to it. Instead of him just being a stupid geek now he is turning into someone that was targetted in the first place for working with them, but was "saved" by the dude that ended up putting all that stuff in his head.

I have been watching this on nbc.com and thoroughly enjoying it. It is kind of stupid but the storyline seems to be progressing nicely with a little more of the bigger picture shown each week.

Oh, and I really enjoyed Adam Baldwin as Jane in Firefly. He brings the same quirky style of humor to this show as well.

"Chuck" and "Reaper" are my favorites out of the new shows.

I like the show. The ratings have been low, but I hope it sticks around.

I really like the show and can't wait for the topless chick scenes.

Last night episode was the best yet imo...

I think Chuck is a great show. It def has a corny type of intelligent humor that not everyone will enjoy.

Yeah, both of those are decent. I do prefer Chuck over Reaper to a certain extent, though.

Its a corny show, but its a good show. The hot dog chick and his sister are fine.


Best new show this year though imo is either Burn Notice or Californication.

Yes!!! I LOVED Burn notice!!! Season two this summer, can't wait. If anyone likes chuck or is looking for another show go find a burn notice Torrent or something.

Def worth watching.

I watched - and liked - Californication. However, I can't see how they extend it. Plus, nothing really happened. It was more disappointing as I went along. Oh and that kid is annoying. Duchoveny's kid in the show.

My son got me watching Burn Notice. I love the style and anything with Bruce Campbell is worth checking out. :)

I didnt mind the daughter, she's what keeps him floating above the water.

I'll give you that. But where's it going? What's the point of the agent story line? Seems to disjointed.

Thats why you tune in for season 2. See wtf happened. if its lame, then we just move to a new show or something. Maybe it was just 1 big ass dream. heh

i've been watching chuck, i think its great better than some new reality show

Yeah spread the word and get it some ratings. Gotta keep good shows on the air rather then most of the crap I have to see.

I agree i cannot stand reality shows. THe only one i ever really watched was Rob and Big, other then that. they are horrible.

i don't hate all reality just most of the new stuff. I still watch Survivor and The Ultimate Fighter but thats about it for reality.

What I would like to know is now that all episodes are going to the internet how does that affect ratings.

And I agree the the show is pretty good. I like all the characters at the Buy More. The stuff they do there when its not busy reminds me of some of the bs jobs I have had and killing time.

One of the few new shows I enjoy this year. Well worth one hour of time each week.

Hotter chick in Chuck. This week's Reaper was kind of "eh". It's a lot more hit and miss than Chuck, so far.

My wife thinks both shows are stupid and juvenile, which just shows you their greatness. :)

Great ep today. Keeps getting better. Never seen a geek get so much action though.

Was a damn good episode. I am going to have to watch it again.

Oh man, that was just awesome. She's my favorite actress atm. I just love her. haha

I might need to give this another chance. I watched the first two but it seemed to have too many overly cheesy or uncomfortable moments that made me want to reach for the remote.

Really good episode. I like where they've gone with the show.

Yep, they're really adding the twists and turns now and building on itself. Nicely done. It's gaining momentum and really starting to pull me along.

I'm still pretty impressed with the show, but I worry that it might not survive the writers' strike. Bastards.

The show that isn't going to survive is Journeyman, I think.

Fantastic episode last night.

Twists and turns aplenty. Chuck is the unluckiest dude on the planet.

They arent huge, they they are just crooked. lol That doesnt bother me, becuase i got a ****ed up grill myself. haha

I knew exactly what was in the chamber, yet the episode was still entertaining.

I was hoping the blonde and brunette would end up in a catfight but, alas, it wasn't meant to be.

I was hoping Rachel Bilson would get nekkid.

Good news for Chuck fans: NBC made a full season order today (22 eps).

Nice, i had to come home just now so i can watch it. My friend was going to watch ****ing Dancing with the stars with her daughters. I was like i am out. Its almost time for Chuck. haha

Too bad there is nobody to write them right now.

One theory is that NBC picking up full orders on shows yesterday (Life also got one) is an indication that the strike's nearly over.

The strike is almost over. They are at least negotiating now.

Also, the episode was great. Poor Chuck though, he got all heartbroken.

The Morgan and Anna angle was great.

I think this show is at the top of my list atm. Its great.

You may just cream yourself when the next episode airs.

I believe Sarah spends most of the time in a bathing suit.

My parents love this show, I on the other hand have never seen an episode.

Chuck Bartowski will return after the new year. At least... we hope so.....

Sometimes they release the first episode or 2 early. They did it with Califonication this year.

I had problems with both Chuck and TSCC. Both stopped recording 3 minutes in. On two different devices no less.

And there was no power outage. they recorded but the image just stopped moving.

Wow, this episode was probably one of the best ones yet. I really enjoyed it all the way around.

Lester passing out when Strahan was letting him know he was going to kick his ass was funny as ****. haha

My brief time working at Best Buy would have been much more fun had it been like that. heh

They're doing a great job at ending episodes. The last 5 minutes are almost always the highlight of the show.

They've also learned the greatest lesson about love stories - relationships are most interesting when they're a struggle. Viewers tend to be much more vested in wanting to get a couple together than in keeping them together after it happens. Keep the tension and (hopefully) you keep the viewers.

I worked at a hardware store, pretty big one here in Cali and we had some damned good times, but not like that. I did almost make a diesel truck jack knife though. lol took 3 tow chains to get him out. First 2 just snapped. His company had to pay for all kinds of damage to the cement. haha It was his fault i didnt really make him, but it was some good laughs no doubt.
