You guys really have weepy vaginas!!!!!!!

Wow. He looks pathetic out there. You guys were crying like babies when KC didn't draft him.

007 09-12-2013 09:52 PM

LMAO

DaFace 09-12-2013 09:52 PM

Just stop. He's a rookie who was known to be raw in his 2nd game in the rain.

[/fan of going the Alex Smith route]

petegz28 09-12-2013 09:52 PM

Not me...we got the QB I wanted and didn't even have to use a draft pick
In 3 years Bray will be having 31 teams questioning why they didn't grab him

Mr. Flopnuts 09-12-2013 09:53 PM

Imagine that. The 2nd game of a rookie campaign, on a short week, in a rain storm and he looks like a rookie. What a bunch of dumbasses. Who would've ever thought this guy would be any good?

AussieChiefsFan 09-12-2013 09:53 PM

Well the tables turned pretty quickly there. LMAO

TribalElder 09-12-2013 09:54 PM

Yeah, almost beat the pats while throwing 3 picks

Major suck right?

God of Thunder 09-12-2013 09:54 PM

I would have bet anything that any of the note-worthy rookie QBs drafted last year in that same situation would have performed like a NFL QB.

opposition 09-12-2013 09:55 PM

It's the fact that you guys wanted to trash your season... Who cares about wins when there is a complete unknown to waste a #1 pick on. Obviously the guy is not ready, and throwing him in the fire just may hurt his career.

kcxiv 09-12-2013 09:55 PM

He's a rookie he did make some really good throw that our captain check down can't. He has room to get better and I think he will. Smith is maxed out he will never get better.

actually, he looked just how I expected. when he had guys wide open, he threw shit passes, when he needed to fit the ball in, he made good passes.

Based on he is who he is. He's not going to all of a sudden be able to throw lasers to guys down field he's not going to be able to throw down field and be accurate. He's not going to be able to carry a team on his back. He will never make a team elite. All he will do is manage games. Hell his coach has stated that. Hell his other coach couldn't wait to replace him when his team was what 7-1. Come on now open ur ****ing eyes. Slightly above average qbs is not what u want if u wanna win consistantly .

Offense had one freaking good drive last week.

Now we know why alex smiths asking price was so high. No way Rex Ryan put his job on the line with mark sanchez and a rookie thinking that was actual improvement at the position.

I want him to do good so that our higher ups realize u gotta take chances on young qbs not qb's that other teams don't want. That even sounds ****ing terrible if u think about it.

I would love nothing more then for Alex smooth to come out and throw for close to 300 yards a game every game like the elite ones do. Does anyone honestly think that's gonna happen? Its not about not rooting for Alex at least not with me. I have watched football long enough to know how winning teams work. This isn't it. If it was the chiefs would have more then one payoff win in over 30 years. Think about how hard that is to do. U almost have to try to be bad for that to happen.

I don't think it was a coincidence they traded for Alex the Sunday after the combine was over. It's obvious Reid and Dorsey didn't like him. And it's not like Reid has shown a fear of drafting QBs.

That said... you can't throw in the towel on the guy after 2 games. Although his performance tonight was not very good. My biggest concern is I don't think he played as well once the Heisman spotlight turned on him... can he handle the heat.

Alex Smith as a rookie:

1 TD 11 INT

By all means judge Geno when we have a sizeable amount of fair data to work with.

Now is not that time, and the fact that people are already jumping down his throat says a clear message to me that the majority of Kansas City fans will truly never have the patience for a rookie QB. They all like to say, "I really think drafting and developing a QB is the best way to produce a winning football team year after year" but then attach the caveat: "Only if it's the right QB."

3 worst NFL franchises post season wise is KC, Cleveland, and Detroit. What do all 3 teams have in common? Shitty qb's through out that time. 2+2. Its not hard

tooge 09-12-2013 10:15 PM

Mayocks knock on him prefer aft was that he simply missed too many easy throws to open targets. Saw a lot of that tonight. I see him as a Sam Bradford, not an Andrew Luck. He'll be fine but maybe not spectacular.
