Browns Hire Chudzinski
Schefter/Mortensen confirming on Twitter.
And then there's this from Albert Breer: Albert Breer @AlbertBreer Chudzinski was Romeo Crennel's offensive coordinator in Cleveland, so he has experience in the city and with the club. Expand Reply Retweet Favorite Good Lord, poor Cleveland. |
Factory of sadness.

Stupid hire, IMO. We'll see for sure though.

What a chud
|
Did billay become the GM of the Browns?
|
JFC.
Put a bullet in that franchise's head. |

It would only be fitting for Pioli to find a job there, and Crennel to be the new DC. Maybe Daboll can go run the offense and they can bring in Cassel/Quinn. I'm going to research companies that fly banners in Cleveland. Anyone want to join this investment? Is Saveourbrowns.com available yet? |

He's bringing Norv Turner along so it's not that horrid.
Turner will do good things with Trent Richardson. |
|
why do they do things like this?
|
Cleveland doesn't have the rep to get a top flight coach. They've been turned down by all the top candidates. Catch-22: Browns won't get better until they get a good coach, a good coach won't come to the Browns until they get better.
|
Looking at wikipedia not that bad. Hes turned around some horrid offenses.
|
So thankful we went and got Reid early, a lot of open head coach positions not a lot of head coaching talent out there.

Keith Britton @KeithBritton86
Also told, Dick Jauron not expected to be retained by Chudzinski as Def Coord, either |
Oh Cleveland...

Why do you think that offense wasn't better than it should have been? |

Were Chris Palmer and Tim Couch unavailable?

"At least it's not Lebron!" /Browns.
|
They'll be in the playoffs next year. No joke.

There are only 32 NFL head coaching jobs in the entire world. There are less than a handful of qualified men in the entire world that wouldn't take that job. |
And I really thought we sucked the most.
The suffering we've been through the past few years is 1/19 of what they are going through. |

I truly feel for that organization |
Wow. Why bother firing people if this is the best you can do replacing them?

Way to go, Chud! A former Johnny(St. John's Jesuit, Toledo, OH) who matriculated to the U to play TE during their glory days. I grew up outside Toledo, I don't personally know him but I have followed his football career. Good luck, he will need it trying to turn that franchise around from perpetual grease fire that it has been.

Guy is the most over-rated OC in the entire NFL. It's not a coincidence Tomlinson 'declined' starting immediately when Turner arrived. The same non-coincidence that allowed him to average 1.5 more YPC in NY than he did in his final SD season. The guy has been riding for 20 years based on what happened in Dallas, an offense that ran itself. Dallas was just fine after he left, and Washington was left holding the reminder it was talent, not a good OC, who put all those points and yards up in Big D. |

I didn't think I would be saying this this off season, but I am thanking God that I'm a Chiefs fan and not a Browns fan this morning. |
i'd be more excited if his name was Pudzooski

Went something like this "Brb, I have to take the Browns to the Super Bowl"
10 minutes later "You're Hired" |

No shit. |
Whatever coach turns Cleveland into a yearly playoff team needs to be enshrined in the HOF instantly.
The same goes for the first coach of the Chiefs that wins a playoff game. |
