It always seems to be at taco bell for me. I’ve eaten a Mexican pizza, a ½ pound bean burrito, 2 double decker tacos, a crunch-wrap supreme, and 2 chicken soft tacos before. I didn’t feel too great after that.

Donger 10-12-2009 12:17 PM

I once got a two McDonalds' Double Quarter Pounders because of an error by the drive through person working at the time. I ate both in one sitting. Two large fries, too.

Pizza Hut buffets when I was in college. It was a real treat to get pizza, so I generally ate until I was two bites from throwing up.

yep, that's a good bit. :shake:

Mr. Flopnuts 10-12-2009 12:21 PM

I can eat an entire large combo pizza. It's been some time since I've done it though.

I did eat a Western BBQ 6 dollar burger, a chili cheese burger, a large order of chili cheese fries, and a milkshake from Carl's Jr. last year though. Although I don't know if you'd count it in 1 sitting. I took about a half hour break in the middle.

Infidel Goat 10-12-2009 12:22 PM

I ate a dozen Krispy Kreme donuts in the middle of a four hour mile race. Sadly, they were day old fundraiser donuts and not so tasty anymore.

Back in college, I had a bunch of friends who would eat dinner (probably something like burger, fries, and a drink) and then finish it off with the Ben & Jerry's "Triple Double" which consisted of eating two pints of their ice cream, two of their brownie bars, and two of their ice cream cream bars (in less than an hour).

Demonpenz 10-12-2009 12:23 PM

I ate a family meal from long john silvers. Finished it exept for corn on the cob

hopefully the carbs helped, lol, provided it was a 'foot race' lol, yeah the fund-raising KK's aren't that good.

Well done.

Mine was in High School. I was running like a kajillion miles a day and could pretty much eat what I wanted. Had a friend bet me I couldn't eat three Subway footlongs. Of course, I refuse to lose so I did it. That was a metric ****ton of food. You could see a small mountain sticking out of my abdomen where my stomach was. That night I couldn't lay on my stomach, I had to lay on my back.

There is no way I could even get 2 down now.

HemiEd 10-12-2009 12:34 PM

"Back in the day" I ate two large thin crust Pizza Hut ground beef pizzas. They were very large then, late 60s, and they only offered thin crust.

Used to order two double cheeseburgers as regular operating procedure. :D

More recently, two Portillos Combos. They have an Italian sausage inside of Italian beef, with hot peppers.

That was a few years ago, one is difficult to eat now and they have gotten expensive.

When Pizza Hut came out with the Bigfoot pizza's I ate one by myself on a bet.

The next biggest meal was The chicken fried steak meal from Perkons and then going to McD's and getting a Dbl 1/4 pounder meal.

BucEyedPea 10-12-2009 12:35 PM

I can pretty much eat Taco Bell to infinity. No matter how much I eat, I'm not ever really full. I think my stomach doesn't really recognize it as food. It's sort of like eating styrofoam.

I once witnessed a friend of mine eat 23 slices of pizza off of the Pizza Hut buffet. We went back to his house afterwards and he did not come out from his bedroom for several hours so once we drank all of his beer we left. The next day he told me that it felt like he was going into cardiac arrest and that he only got out of bed to give birth to his pizza babies. He won the $20 bet which was that he couldn't eat 20 slices of pizza so he at 23 just to be a badass....lol

JuicesFlowing 10-12-2009 12:46 PM

I used to go to Taco Shop here in Wichita and eat 10 tacos in one sitting. All for $5.00

My friend worked at McDonald's and they were running a special on Big Macs. He brought me out four left over Big Macs and I crushed them and proceeded to go toilet papering. Needless to say, that toilet paper came in handy. I didn't eat another Big Mac for five years.

When I was 18 I ate 2 large pizzas from Little Ceasars. This is apparently less impressive than it sounds because I had 2 friends with me who each did the same thing.

When I was in High School back in the 70s we'd burn a couple, then go on "munch a thon's." We'd see how many fast food places we could drive thru, and you had to eat or drink at least one thing at each stop. McD's, Hi-Boy, Hardee's, KFC, Taco Bell, etc etc etc.
I think one night we went to 12 to 13 places before we said "Uncle."

Contrary to present circumstances, none of us were fat either.

RockChalk 10-12-2009 01:06 PM

We did a McNugget eating "contest" last year during the Chiefs/Chargers game. I put down 40 nuggets. The first 30 went down smoothly, but at that point the nuggets started tasted like pure grease. I haven't had them since. The winner put down 40 nuggets, a barbacoa chipotle burrito and a can of spaghettios.

I've also put down 2 chicken chipotle burritos in one sitting and haven't really enjoyed chipotle since.

i remember when Funhouse would have .25 cent taco night, and they were really good, they'd already have the taco sauce on them, also they'd sprinkle w/ parmesian cheese, which was surprisingly good.

gblowfish 10-12-2009 01:09 PM

Real old school: Back in the 1970's there were several mom and pop burger joints that would sell you a bag of burgers for real cheap. Like 5 for $1. There was The Golden Point, The Candy Stripe, The Starlite Drive In, Mug's Up, Dog N Suds, Clem's, Tender Shack, and these places were all just in Independence. The local Dairy Queen would have burger night on Friday, where burgers were like $.25 each for a braiser burger. Man...you could eat hamburgers till you went into a burger coma back then.

Dixon's Chili still has all the tacos you can eat specials, and Kross Lounge in Sugar Creek has 3 tacos for a dollar and $.75 draws of Miller High Life on Thursday nights.

Taco Tico off south Rock Rd (don't know if its still there) used to have $.49 tacos on Tuesdays. I ate 10 once. Never again. But I do miss getting 5 tacos and a large Dr Pepper for $3.20.

Just finished off a 2 lb salad from Price Chopper...ugh.

I ate 2.25 burritos from Chipotle one time. The ****er in the challenge with me matched me at two so I had to find a second wind.
