look at him

LOOK AT HIM

If you say he isn't he's tracing your IP, showing up at your doorstep and raping your house

not you or anyone in the house

just the house

he is going to literally take down his pants and violate your house

you will perish inside

ThaVirus 12-16-2014 09:51 PM

Roethlisberger and Rivers will both hold onto the ball in an attempt to make a throw down field. If he brings his A game he could definitely get 3 sacks over these final two weeks.

I'm rooting for him, too. The guy is going to cost an arm and a leg anyway. He's already proven that he'll be worth every penny. Pay this man.

O.city 12-16-2014 09:54 PM

What's the sack record?

ThaVirus 12-16-2014 09:55 PM

22.5 or some shit. Should be 1 less though. Favre and Strahan are cheating bastards.

He needs to have a big finish for sure though for us to make the playoffs.

Saul Good 12-16-2014 10:05 PM

Mutha****a I got five on the 20 sack.

O.city 12-16-2014 10:09 PM

Good lord, what's he gonna get paid?

Sweet Daddy Hate 12-16-2014 10:13 PM

They'll trade him.

TribalElder 12-16-2014 10:20 PM

He needed 3 vs the raiders

"... Houston never hesitates to put a QB on his baaack!"

thabear04 12-17-2014 01:57 AM

Well Houston and Elvis Dumervil both got 17 sacks. But I'm sure Houston will break the 20 sack mark.

Yep. I mentioned prior to the season letting both him and Alex play without new deals this season and let them prove themselves.

Well, Justin Houston has proved himself. Big time. We may as well root for him to ball out the last two weeks, because like you said, he's already gonna be an expensive buy.

That being said, if the Chiefs don't find a way to keep Houston here long term, that may be the final straw for me. I may walk away.

Hog's Gone Fishin 12-17-2014 07:41 AM

3 sacks each game breaks the record and gets paid.

Next 5 years he averages 6 sacks.

InChiefsHeaven 12-17-2014 07:45 AM

He'll get one vs. Steelers, and 3 vs. Rivers at Arrowhead. He'll get the Chiefs record but not the NFL record.

Hope I'm wrong. Here's to back to back 3 sack games...

Otter 12-17-2014 07:52 AM

If I accidentally bumped into that guy at the bar and he said "I'm going to follow you home and beat you to death with your dog" I don't think I'd go into smart ass mode. There's a hint of truth in those eyes.

Can't believe he fell to the 3rd round.

Thank God he liked the pot, and Pioli didn't seem to care. Otherwise, we'd never have the dude.

Chiefnj2 12-17-2014 08:43 AM

He'd have the record if KC had an offense that could actually score quickly and force the opposition to go into pass mode.

lcarus 12-17-2014 09:18 AM

6 sacks in 2 games to break Strahan's record? Maybe if he had a monster game against Pitt with 4 sacks or somethin.

ThaVirus 12-18-2014 01:05 AM

It's PFF but still interesting nonetheless:

https://www.profootballfocus.com/blo...ook-week-15-4/

Quote:

...Houston has been doing this against all teams this year. He was blanked as a pass-rusher against Denver in Week 2, but after that he has not been held to fewer than three total pressures in a game, and has seven games of six or more pressures. He has 77 total pressures this season, 19 more than any other 3-4 outside linebacker and more than any player in the league not named J.J. Watt.

Let that sink in for a moment. Only J.J. Watt, a player who is playing at an all-time level of dominance, has more total pressures than Houston does this year. Any other pass-rusher you can think of is trailing in his wake. It’s not a case of volume of attempts either. PFF’s Pass Rushing Productivity score measures pressure on a per-snap basis with sacks weighted more heavily, and Houston tops all recognized pass-rushers with a score of 15.7. Better than Watt, better than Von Miller, better than any 4-3 defensive end or interior rusher.

You can make the case that Justin Houston has been the best pass-rusher in the league this season...
https://pff-pffanalysisltd12.netdna-...12/Houston.gif

Quote:

...Overall Houston had 10 total pressures in this game from his pass rushing snaps, exactly one third of the defense’s total and significantly better than any other Chiefs player...
PAY THIS MAN!

I wonder if he will still keep his intensity once he gets paid. Remember, this will be his first real payday as he was only a third round pick.

Will he get a check for 15 million dollars and stay focused on killing quarterbacks...or will his focus shift to other things...

You could ask this question about any ascending young player.

this might be a repost, probably is

At this point every sack is adding another million to his massive nuts contract so I almost hope he doesn't otherwise he'll be in a Broncos jersey next year

Hydrae 12-18-2014 04:59 PM

He will get at least 2 this week against that horrible line in Pitt. Then he just needs to chase an injured Phyllis to get the 20th.

Chief Roundup 12-18-2014 05:16 PM

He could get 3 this weekend easy enough.

I know there are teams out there that would probably do that, but damn would you want the Chiefs to give up 2 - 1st rounders and a contract that is going to pay him 15+M a year for 6 years or more?
With the new rookie contract guidelines those 1st rounders are more valuable than they use to be when those two rookie contracts would equal or exceed that kind of a contract at least some.
