Late night bullshit: our options at #1 AND #12 overall.
BossChief dropped this idea in another thread, so I'll run with it for a new conversation.
The Dolphins and Chiefs square up a trade for Albert: the Chiefs trade Albert and 3a for the Dolphins 1st. In this hypothetical, the Chiefs still have the 1st overall, and now they have the 12th overall in addition. Who would you like to take with the 1st and 12th overall? |
Not a chance in hell they get the 6th pick for that.
|
Interesting. But isn't that the opposite of what we want to do?
|
Jeff Ireland is dumb but not that dumb and we would have to give up a lot bigger farm than a LT looking to be overpaid and a 3rd round pick for ****ing 6th overall..
they are begging/trying to get a 2nd for him packaging a mid round pick with him doesnt just automatically make it some attractive piece lol |
LMAO
|
Don't the Phins pick twelfth?
|
This would never happen but if it did I'd go Fisher and Richardson.
|
The dolphins don't even have the 6th pick.

How can you even post such a nonsensical scenario? |
Well we'd have to take at least one tackle with Albert gone.
I guess Fisher and Tavon Austin. |

We really need to keep Albert though, after seeing who they they listed as starters at OL at practice today.
|
but it's not even like a realistic scenario, or logical. there is like a full 0 percent chance of this happening.
why wouldnt you want to talk about scenarios and topics that make sense, and not stuff that only exists in the Wizard of Chiefs Oz with lollipop kids, gumdrops, and we should have drafted Colin Kaepernick over Jon Baldwin fairy tales |
In fantasy land, since we'd apparently have 1.1, 1.6, and 1.12 (ROFL Direckshun), I'd draft Geno at 1.1, trade down from 1.6 to around 18, then trade down again, then trade down to 32 or out of the first, thus securing at least 3 2nd round picks and probably some additional 4ths or future picks. I'd also use 1.12 on either Sheldon Richardson or Mingo.
|
Here's the talent that could be on the board:
OLB Barkevious Mingo WR Tavon Austin OG Chance Warmack OG Johnathan Cooper Talent that will be on the board: WR Cordarrelle Patterson TE Tyler Eifert OT DJ Fluker DE Sheldon Richardson NT Johnathan Hankins OLB Bjoern Werner CB Xavier Rhodes S Kenny Vaccaro |
I'm in the minority but I'd rather draft Dion Jordan than trade down to 12.

I'd seriously consider taking Vaccaro at 1.12 |
Would be pretty nuts to have Cordarrelle on board.
That'd give us a really tall receiver corps. |
geno 1, austin 12
|
yea and jon baldwin to 5th string
exciting |
Would you **** your cousin if it meant you could **** Eva Mendez?

Why would Miami pay Albert "Jake Long" money when they wouldn't even pay Jake Long "Jake Long" money? You think CP would be pissed about going from Albert to Joeckel? Imagine what Miami fans would feel about giving up draft picks and a big contract to go from Jake Long to Branden Albert.
|
I have no interest in even discussing the draft until draft day. I don't even care anymore. Hopefully we don't take a tackle.

Warmack and Cooper. We could go with a 4 guard offense just like the one that Mizzou used to finish the Big 12 with a tournament championship.
|
More seriously, I'd take an OT with 1.1 (Fisher or Joeckel) and then hope to get Sheldon Richardson or Star Lotuakdjfsl with 1.12.

She doesn't have those toothless, unibrow features that most cousin****ers enjoy. This could be tricky for us norms though. |
