If this doesn't bring freedom to communist China, nothing will.

Wow. You have a stupid thread title that is basically flame bait for morons who have to make everything a political argument, and then you have the morons who try to make everything in to a political argument.
Furthermore, Asian chicks do not have big hooters. Most of them, at least. |

And even if it's only 1 in 100, they'll still have 5 million candidates to choose from. |

China is kinda free - except for the fact that they kill your children if you have more than one girl, execute political prisoners, block chunks of the internet from the rest of the world, have little to no religious freedom, etc etc. |
Heh, c'mon guys. Going off every other stupid thing he's posted, did the "kinda free" comment really surprise you. Some folks are just plain naive. Either that or they would just prefer to bury their heads in the sand. :shake:

If by "kinda free" you mean that the CCP still has a total monopoly in the political sector, opposition parties are outlawed, a judicial court system that stands by the principle of "guilty until proven innocent," corruption of the socialist economic system w/capitalist characteristics, government intimidation to keep the Chinese media in line, all churches must be state approved, and using the so-called "People's Army" when the civilians get out of line, then you are correct. |

maybe he meant kinda sorta-but-not-really free? or maybe he was just being metro-esque... (whatevertf that means... :D ) |

As an update, here's another article that describes plans to open Hooters stores in India. That would be cool.
http://money.cnn.com/2004/10/22/news...hooters_china/ Hooters coming to communist China Chain known for wings and waitresses with next to no clothing set to open in Shanghai. October 22, 2004: 3:13 PM EDT NEW YORK (CNN/Money) - In the clearest signal to date that China has made the leap from emerging economy to a global powerhouse, Hooters will open its first location in the communist country next week, a spokesman for the company confirmed Friday. The Atlanta-based chain, known for its chicken wings and scantily clad waitresses, will open the Shanghai location on Monday, Hooters spokesman Mike McNeil told CNN/Money. "The franchisee plans to open between 5 and 10 locations in the next few years. There may be a slight change to the menu, but the waitstaff apparel will be the same," he said, adding that the Chinese franchisee has been well received by the government. Privately-owned Hooters joins other restaurant chains Pizza Hut, KFC, McDonald's and Dominos that have opened locations in Shanghai. Hooters has also unveiled plans to open several locations in India next year. "Hooters is a strong and exciting brand name that has a very unique place in its industry offering a perfect atmosphere to have fun, relax with friends and enjoy great food. I am looking forward to the 'recreation' of this dining atmosphere in India," said Sunil Bedi, Managing Director of Hooters of India (H.O.I.) Pvt. Ltd. in a statement in August. Hooters of America has also opened restaurants in Singapore, Taiwan, Chile and Austria. In 2003 the company started an airline with a hub in Myrtle Beach, S.C. that flies to Newark, N.J., Atlanta, Nassau, Chicago, Columbus and Baltimore. |
It won't bring them freedom, but they will have more overpriced shitty food than they know what to do with.
