Samie Parker?

Where in the hell is the second coming of Az-Hikm?

morphius 12-01-2004 04:16 PM

Who the hell knows, he gets in on a couple plays never to be seen or heard of again. I think he blocked someone once, but other then that, nothing. Its sad that the one guy who supposedly is fast enough to be a deep threat replacement for Bricks Kennison doesn't see any playing time. Of course the injury and having to miss some of the early camps due to NCAA/NFL agreements didn't help either.

Rausch 12-01-2004 04:16 PM

We probably won't see a lot out of him until preseason next year....

BigChiefFan 12-01-2004 04:17 PM

They're saving him for the playoffs, errr...

ChiefsOne 12-01-2004 04:18 PM

Is he still hurt? What was the injury. Been so long since I've even heard anything about him that I have forgotten.

HolmeZz 12-01-2004 04:20 PM

I miss Richard Smith. :p

Ultra Peanut 12-01-2004 04:21 PM

At least you didn't spell it Sammie...

As far as I know, he is healthy now, but so is Kennison and Horn took spot number 4.

ChiefsCountry 12-01-2004 04:23 PM

Lets put Parker in see what he can do. Its not like its going to hurt anything.

Forgot about him too! Wonder where he is? We sure could use a little help from either of these guys.

Maybe they could dual as CBs too. Couldn't be any worse!

alpha_omega 12-01-2004 04:26 PM

Maybe next year

Chiefnj 12-01-2004 04:32 PM

I thought I saw him picking up some nachos for Priest at the concession stand last week. He was only limping a little bit.

nascher 12-01-2004 04:35 PM

Where is Kris Wilson ???

ChiefsOne 12-01-2004 04:37 PM

Wilson is supposed to be back this week for a little playing time.

Umm, Richard Smith is on the Chiefs Practice Squad ...

BigVE 12-01-2004 04:42 PM

WHERE is Az Hakim?

lol

We dont need another one of him, we dont need another Eddie K or J. Morton, we dont need another Sly Morris (or is it Moriss Psicosis????) WR is one area where we need a major upgrade...not one of our usual late round/talked up/division 2 guys who is nothing but hype ALL thru training camp and pre-season and then never touches the field.

So you want us to use our first pick next season for a stud WR?

Didnt say that, but we should have early picks in EVERY round for a change so even if we use a 2nd or a 3rd or a WR it should be a decent pick and hopefully a better quality WR than what we have been drafting in recent years...obviously DEFENSE should be our number 1 priority in my opinion but WR is right up there. I feel like much of the blame for ending 4 games in a row with sacks or incompletions has ALOT to do with WR's who cant get open or catch the ball.

No, I think he was supposed to be the second coming of J.J. Birden.

jspchief 12-01-2004 05:13 PM

Parker was a 4th rnd pick. We'll be lucky if he ever amounts to anything. I'm not suprised that we're not seeing him. Obviously, with the state of our W/L record, it's time to get a look at some of these guys.

There are only two WRs that were taken later than Parker in this year's draft that have made any sort of contribution on offense. Ernest Wilford caught 2 TDs early in the season for JAX, and has been nearly invisible since. Jamaar Taylor was inactive for most of this season for NYG, but had a coming out party last week when Eli hit him on some bombs.

the Talking Can 12-01-2004 05:18 PM

I had no idea we drafted Sammy Hagar.
