HC_Chief 12-06-2004 02:41 PM

Not surprising... Illinois annihilated Wake Forest.

ROFL

Polls at this point really don't matter, IMO. Illinois does deserve it though after destroying WF.

KCTitus 12-06-2004 02:44 PM

Is it ironic that Self's old club is ahead of him in the polls?

I liked the look of the kids at KU...they definately dont miss Padgett at all.

I just wonder if the Illini fans share the same hostility towards Self as KU does towards Roy. Probably not, but there has to be some animosity there.

Took me a while, but I got over it...especially after Self turned that club around and made a valiant effort in the tourney.

Course, they were apparently playing some guy named Robert Morris. 5 on 1 seems a tad unfair... but, whatever.

TMQ called, he wants his bit back.

Yup. Actually, polls don't mean nearly as much at any point in a college hoops season compared to football because they have a tournament. Of course, being in the top 4 supposedly gets you real close to home for the entire tourney usually.

Padgett was a pussy, I used to feel for the guy but then I realized he lacks the balls to ever be a player. His father was also a whack-job who constantly was hounding Bill about something. Good Riddance. On the Poll note I find it interesting that Self can claim at least some small responsibility in the #1 and #2 spots.

Archie F. Swin 12-06-2004 04:08 PM

where did Padgett run off too?

Spicy McHaggis 12-06-2004 04:10 PM

Louisville

The 4 upcoming games are "cupcakes".

Georgia Tech will be a good test to see what this team is made of.

If UNC hadn't lost, they would be up there, too.
