The Chiefs must be the only NFL team that...
... has never had 2 first rounders. I don't remember any such draft. Do you? WhyTF is that? :banghead:

You have to have a good enough player to garner a first round pick in a trade. The Chiefs list of players that would fall in that category is pretty small as it is, and the few we've had we wouldn't be willing to trade anyway.

All the other teams are cheaters. We are the only honest and pure team in the entire NFL
|
wait, aren't you forgetting ryan simms (cp spelling)?
after all, he's so good that we should count him as two first round draft picks... well, maybe not... :( :( :( |

1984 they had two, Bill Maas and John Alt. 5 and 21 :D
|
You want them to screw up two first round picks instead of one? Jeez, there would be a mushroom cloud over Arrowhead for two half-lifes if they did that. Just be glad they don't have the opportunity to do so.

1979 Mike Bell, Steve Fuller
1968 Mo Moorman, George Daney Suffice it to say that CP prefers to trade away picks rather that gather them. |

Denver has never had 2 #1s in the same draft

Yeah, boy are the Chiefs bad at drafting or what!
I can't believe they took the number one rated DT on the board in Ryan Sims. |
The Patriots have two first rounders every year... league policy

I'm with you on that sarcasm. Plus I stilll have hopes that Sims will pan out eventually. Hopefully not for another team. |
My problem is not with ther 1st rounders during the CP era... it is with the 2nd and 3rd rounders that he has missed, bady, on. Freaking Rashan Sheehee? Naz Worthen? Mike ELkins with the fourth pick of the second round?

The thing I remember about the Ryan Sims pick was the Chiefs trading UP to get him! I don't remember what they gave the Cowboys but it was too much! :banghead:
I think they could have had Dwight Freeney, Roy Williams or Ed Reed at their original position w/o giving up anything! Thanks Carl!:cuss: |
