CHIEFS AGREE TO TERMS WITH TY LAW
|
if thats true there has never been a chiefs team this loaded
|
It lists 610 as a source.
I say "BS". |
There's just no way in hell that we could really cap an already good offseason with this.
Did Stram pay off the Football Gods when he got up there? |
Ty Law and the Kansas City Chiefs have agreed in principle pending Law pass a physical and is able to prove he will be ready September 11, 2005 for opening day, according to Kansas City's 610 Sports reporter Rhonda Moss. Law's agent and the Chiefs are speaking daily, and are very close in terms of dollars.

If true, 2 out of the 3 players I wanted the Chiefs to aquire this offseason are on the roster. Kendrell Bell and Ty Law. I guess I could live without Justin Tuck. |
He's sourcing 610 from the report yesterday. Apparently Ben didnt hear the 810 interview with Leon...err...Law.
|
I'll get excited when it's on a "real" sports website. Such as ESPN, sportsline, or CNNSI. Fat Moss from 610 does not have my trust!
|
I just peeed myself. It is gonna be one of those days isnt it?
|
Great source.

Dear heavenly father,
I don't ask for much. Well there was that waitress in San Jose but she wasn't completely sane as it turned out so it's ok that that one didn't happen. I know it's been a while since I've talked to you and I only come to you with my wants... but this time it's different. This time it really matters. You see, the Chiefs... ya know my football team... are reportedly, possibly, maybe going to sign Ty Law. Yes THAT Ty Law. You did a nice job on him btw. If this is true and not some cruel hoax, I promise I'll get rid of all the porn and stop masterbating..... for as long as possible. I really want this God. I mean..... I really NEED this. It's like having air and water and food. I don't think I can live without it now that I've had a taste. If you could do this for me... for us..... I mean they are YOUR favorite team too. I'd spend every moment of every game thanking for the best secondary in football. I won't ask for anything else. Thanks for listening. Your humble servant, Brian p.s. After we get Ty Law... you wouldn't let us NOT win the Super-Bowl...would you? |
I'm so happy I could shit! PBJ
|
This is one that we will have to see to believe!
If it happens it may be a good thing, if not we are still sitting alot better than we were last year at this time. |

By the way God..... he didn't ask, but could we possibly get some sort of cheerleaders that don't look like they need to be fed hey? Thanks again! :thumb:

This has the makings of the Metro Sports "Trotter to KC" report a couple of months back.
If he's basing this on Rhonda Moss' report, then he's pissing in the wind. |

If its on the net, it HAS to be true. C'mon Lat...... |

They did agree to terms with Grigsby, tho.

Who's the guy who has to nail Lisa Marie Presley on the 50 yard line if this is true?
Let me know if you need a backup. |
Ben Maller? Who in the hell is Ben Fuggen Maller? Hey, it would be great if it happens, but I am going to wait to do cart wheels until I see it reported by someone other than this clown. :shake:

Stop eating the Mints out of Public Urinals.
Anyone who listened to that interview yesterday, who didn't comprehend that Ty Law isn't coming to KC, doesn't really like KC, and doesn't think the Chiefs have eleventymillion doolars....is a moron. It IS NOT HAPPENING. I've got a better chance of being hired as the New Ari Fleisher, and asked to give the "iowanian response" to foreign diplomats. |
Its a shock header designed to get you worked up, but read it carefully. They've agreed in principle, not on money. I don't care if they are "close in terms of dollars", there are a million different ways to interpret that. The bottom line is are they giving him the upfront money he wants.
Basically sounds to me to not be different than yesterday. |

They haven't agreed on shit.
Also, Jets | Law Must Lower Price? Fri, 15 Jul 2005 06:37:06 -0700 Updating previous reports, Newsday's Ken Berger reports free agent CB Ty Law (Patriots) must lower his asking price for the New York Jets to give any consideration to signing him, according to a person with knowledge of the situation. |
Ben Maller says it's so! Errr, rewind........who in the hell is Ben Maller again?
|
I knew this was BS. This guy is reporting the rumors from 610. What a gd joke. I'll go with the reality of the situation, which is:
1. We don't have the jack in our Cap to pay Leon, what Leon wants 2. Leon wants to be the #1 man in the backfield - Pat Surtain owns that spot 3. It would be too good to be true. |

He's that guy from Ferris Buehler and Comedy Central. |

Can someone confirm this w/ a legitimate source, like Warpaint Illustrated? I mean, that dude has media credentials.
I'm tired of all this groundless speculation.... :) (Sorry, couldn't resist.) |
Benmaller is a great site for sports news. They reported all the signings the Chiefs have made thus far, way in advance. Thats why they are on foxsports.
Ty Law will be a Chief. All that nonsense he was spewing yesterday was to get the deal sealed. He would never talk on a KC station unless it had something behind it. Also on PTI i believe it was, Whitlock spoke to Law yesterday. Im sure Whitlock creamed all over himself in the process as well and off air whispered into Law's ear, " I told them to sign you first not Pat Surtain. I wanted you. Please come to us and I will give you a game used Ball State jersey that me and Jeff George wore while sleeping together." |
Didn't nolimitpk post something like this last week?

I don't even see it on 610's site. Put me in the "I'll believe it when I see it on a major sports site" camp. :shake:

but...but... Ben Stiller said we did, damnit!
|
Word going around is Warfield might be getting cut. His agent I guess lied to the Front Office about his suspension that they had prior knowledge to.
Jets cant get law. They just signed a corner from Dallas and they have to resign this guy below. They are already broke. By next Friday expect Law to be in Red n Gold. Contract talks between the Jets and three-time Pro Bowl DE John Abraham can officially resume today as the blackout for negotiations between franchise players and their teams is lifted. The club has placed the franchise tag on Abraham ($6.67 million) but he wants a long-term deal and didn't take part in the team's off-season condition program. Abraham, who spent the off-season working with a personal trainer, may not report to training camp on time. The Jets are balking at giving Abraham a long-term deal because of his injury history. Last season, he missed the final four games of the regular season and two playoff games after suffering a torn lateral collateral ligament in his left knee. |

|
Let's see, we have no money to sign Law and Ben Maller said that Rhonda Moss said that Law is signing with us. Guess I'll go on out and get that Ty Law jersey now...........NOT. I'll take "I will believe it when I see it" for $1000.
|
sports journalism is rapidly catching up with "real news" journalists in their shitty reporting.

Yea, this is a real dilemma. Do I believe Rhonda Moss and Nick Athan, or Ty Law? It's hard to say who's more credible.
|
Well Benmaller.com seems pretty reliable since it had the Bell, Knight, and Surtain signing on there before any other site. Ready between the lines about Law's interview yesterday. HE WILL BE A CHIEF.
|
a healthy Ty Law teamed with Surtain would be a dream cornerback matchup. Im drooling already.

Also, when you get a bit older, I have some bad news about Santa. |
I think the real story here is the all-in bet that 610 is placing here. If it turns out to be correct they and Moss are on the map as THE Chiefs prognosticators. If it doesn't pan out they just shot their credibility (what they have left) in the nuts.
