Why is that interesting? That they got old?

Vince screwed Bret, the montreal incident, owen hart, etc.

Chest Rockwell 08-05-2005 01:44 PM

Isn't that like the 4 seal of the apocolypse being broken or something?

Seriously though, I hear they're working on a Bret Hart DVD, and want to induct him into the WW[F]E hall of fame. Also hear they're offering him a deal to come back, but he dosen't want to make people think that he's ok with The Incident.

Reaper16 08-05-2005 02:21 PM

What the Hell? That's really interesting. I imagine both are very uncomfortable, kinda like a Scanlon/Boomer photo op.

Brock 08-05-2005 02:24 PM

You've been worked.

Mile High Mania 08-05-2005 02:24 PM

It's all about the $...

HolmeZz 08-05-2005 02:26 PM

I heard Bret shaved his head.

Uncomfortable? No way, those smiles both look COMPLETELY natural to me.

If by completely natural you mean Brett looks like he wants to rip Vince's heart out through his butt, and Vince looks like his bladder just figured that out.

Which I do.

Wrestlers are all a bunch of pussies anyway.

I've never understood the appeal of sweaty men in their undies pretending to hit each other.

Whenever someone starts a Harry Potter or Star Wars thread, the drive-by post is to drop "NERDS!" on them...

Not sure what to do here... "NERDS!" doesn't cut it.... "LOSERS!" maybe? ;)

Bah.

Brett Hart screwed himself.

Everyone knows that the matches are pre-determined, and at the time of the incident, it had leaked that Brett was on his way to the WCW franchise.

All Brett Hart had to do was be a professional, and drop the belt to Shawn Michaels at the pay per view and make his exit on Raw the following night.

But for some odd reason, Brett Hart didnt want to do his job and lose the match because it was in Canada.

Vince McMahon didnt want to take the chance on Brett Hart showing up on WCW Nitro with his company's championship belt, so he requested that Brett drop the belt to Shawn Michaels before he left.

Brett didnt want to, so Vince did what he had to do in order to protect his company. He forced the belt to be dropped.

All Brett had to do was just do his job and pass the belt to Shawn Michaels before he left. But somehow he thought himself above that, and thought that he should get to just relinquish the belt to Vince McMahon on Raw when he officially announced that he was leaving.

Im pretty surprised after the way that he acted that Vince McMahon would have ever associated himself with Bret Hart again.

Watching Rick Flair prance around, seeing Hulk Hogans 7000 "comebacks" and having to watch The Hearbreak Kid headline again instead of younger guys is what eventually turned me off to the whole thing. Plus I really can't stand HHH.

I catch Raw every now and then, but I just can't get into it any more. It's just not the same "leave your brain at the door" kind of entertainment it used to be. It's somehow even worse.

I remember years ago when the Ultimate Warrior cameback to WCW, good lord that was sad! we watched some old geisor prance around then disapear after like 2 appearances. Hogan atleast has that show on VH1 now that is kinda fun to watch, he needs to stay done as do many others and let the stars of today do their thing. I don't really care for wrestling and havent for years, but i occasional flip to it and watch a few min and laugh.

I remember this. For the first couple apperances all he did was show up outside the ring and threaten justice on so-and-so. When he finally go into the ring, all he did was bounce off the ropes and body block guys eight time in a row and tag out.

He sucked alot.
